I've always thought "long term" and in the end, I was never close to winning the championship ... But you shoud do as you feel.

I sometimes think that with a little more guts I could do like Joe, Mizu or Amenra.

Short term ambition or long term reason ???

What do you think about ?

Like Dartreb, i've also always been more of a long-term thinker, but so far it hasn't beared any fruits since i promoted to the BBBL.
And when i look at what AmenRa did three seasons ago, cfr. in the middle of season 32 he bought Totori and Undrits in just 2 days and spent approximately 7.5 million on these purchases. This short term thinking, has proven to be a golden choice for him, because this immediately made him the strongest team in the BBBL, and censequently he has won three BBBL titles in season 32, 33 and 34. It was a bold move by 65daysofstatic, and it certainly took guts to do that, but looking back now, it was a master move by him !
So when you evaluate just that, the balance weighs in favor of more shorter term thinking.
So honestly, i don't know anymore what is the best approach to take...as both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Nobody has talked about middle-term strategy 😀
According to the actual market prices you need to be competitive with low salaries. Otherwise the "drop" is just a matter of a few seasons...

Something that is true with current prices is that you have to focus on building you own players yourself.

They cost way too much, and in most cases you don't even find what you're looking for becuase it simply doesn't exist. If it does you can't afford the player anyway.

Problem is, I am whether too lazy or too messy in my training plans to find suitable players for training, meaning I'm stuck with training 2 players instead of 3, whereas Joe manages to do so e.g. So he'll always be 50 % more efficient than I am, and therefore more prone to success.

I'd add that if every team was training 2 to 3 players the tranfer list would look way better and the prices wouldn't be that high.
