Best of luck to Elmacca and Zander for the cup final.

Was hoping to go toe-to-toe with Elmacca but was always going to be a stretch after getting two injuries in the first quarter.

Looking forward to a good final though.

Congrats to A Dogs, good final.
Had a chance to win too, just couldn't get far enough ahead in crunch time to make the clock work in my favour and was never going to get back in it when it started to work in yours. A Dogs were a nose ahead for most of most of the game though and deserved to win, WP Zander

Thanks Elmacca was a tense one, closer than the score suggests!
Good luck for the rest of the season.

Many thanks to zander for his bbmail after what must have been a painful loss. We've now butted heads in four playoffs in a row and this was, for me, the best game of them all. Certainly one of my all time top games.

Couldn't watch the first quarter as I was busy. When I did find time I had the good news of the lead but the bad news that my highest tsp player had only played three minutes before being injured. Since I'd started as an underdog that didn't exactly fill me with hope.

Had to go out just after the start of the fourth quarter so I missed the rest of the game. A Dogs had just pulled level and when they've done that in the past they've gone on to win. Wasn't to be this time and I'll be honest, I really enjoyed this one. I've nothing but respect for zander but again being honest I didn't think we'd win. I think he has four guys paid more than my highest salaried player and he doesn't buy mugs.

Home advantage really made the difference.

Is it too much to say it was a night of upsets? I don't think so. Even at home I was an underdog and Tide of Fire are always big favourites in games that matter.

What a game!
