What is this fan boycott? I must have missed this issue. What is the effect?

Fans will not tolerate long losing streaks, especially if a team has the funds to prevent them. They will boycott teams that don’t have at least one victory in each third of the season, effectively reducing the amount of sold tickets of upcoming home games! This means that tickets might be reduced by as much as 30%, depending on current team funds. More specifically, the percentages based on the funds are as follows:


Under $500k = 0%

$500k - 750k = 3%

$750k - 1M = 6%

$1M - 1,5M = 9%

$1,5M - 2,25M = 12%

$2,25M - 3M = 15%

3M - 4M = 18%

4M - 5M = 21%

5M - 7M = 24%

7M - 10M = 27%

over 10M = 30%

The effect of the boycott will be reduced by 3% after each home match, as the fans cool down. Should there be another boycott while the existing one still lasts, the effects will be added together (maxing out at 30%).

The effect of the boycott is determined after each third of the season, based on the funds available at that moment. New teams need not worry about this during their first two seasons, while their fan base is still forming.

Thanks. This must have been implemented to stop tanking. I assume you can offset this a little by lowering ticket prices, having a team below the salary floor, and the benefit of the 1st draft pick.

Good to know if I ever need to tank my main team. I don't think I'll ever bother tanking my Utopia team. I'd likely just stop paying for it rather than doing a 2-5 season reset.

IMHO injuries should be removed from the game. I’ve lost second important player and I see you have lost your second at the same time than the greek freak. It needs a lot of seasons to plan when to fight for the trophy and something random can’t affect that much. I wanted to at least fight dor the tournament, what its impossible now. Two seasons ago, in my country, I had a big chance to be the winner but at the beginning of the Poff, three of my starting lineup were out injured. Dont know if I will have a chance again, maybe after 10-12 seasons saving, training...

Mate, I enjoyed our game more than my BBB final. I sent the link to many fellas and we were all having a laugh with it.

I personally needed to take a break - I've been competing at the highest level for many seasons. It's quite stressful to spend 5-6 seasons knowing that you can't lose a single game. For example, any mistake in the Cup in the last 2 seasons would have meant that I would have needed to sell all team or go into bankruptcy...

Now I just want to help our NT and build up some other young prospects, so I don't mind tanking - I am making 300k per week. In the meanwhile, I am finishing my trainees in the 1st team and will try to make history and also win BBB there. This game is just sooooo fun.
