Double cup prize money. Prize per win is too low in todays's market. Even if you win the cup, you don't accumulate enough money to buy half a decent player.

This is no coop-game though.

I would love to see a youth squad instead of the draft, such a system could utilize a system like you suggested, but only on the club level. There are many teams, that don't train at all, as it does not make sense in their situation.

Give more money to teams and they'll spend more.


Yeah, but you're not giving it to all. Only so many teams reach the latter stages of the cup. Thus, we will be increasing buying power for successful teams, which will give more motivation to everyone to do well.

But if you give more money to the top teams (which is already the case between going further in the Cup and more revenue in higher leagues), you are increasing the gap between big and smaller teams.


Really? I doubt it will make much of a difference to be honest. The gap is mostly created by the difference in arena income in different divisions. And to come to my previous point, the teams that go to the latter stages of the cup are only that many... and usually a big part of them are from lower divisions. Sooo, I don't think your point is valid.
