Pool F:
Belgium 135 Island 93
Belgium took absolute control of this one from the start. Island strayed from their strength and played an outside offense, plus Belgium used more enthusiasm when it probably wasn't necessary. POTG: Charles Dorchain had a game high 32 points, a game high 13 rebounds and a 17.0 rating.

Scotland 88 Portugal 136
POrtugal scored 30+ points in every quarter in this one and beat down the weakest team in this pool. POTG: Bruno Luis Oliveira had 15 points a game high 12 rebounds and a 17.0 rating.

Moldova 94 Ukraina 108
Ukraina didn't absolutely dominate this one, but they had control of the game. Both teams put out some good ratings, but Ukraina came out on top. POTG: Vasily Filipchenko had a game high 28 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and a 15.5 rating.

Danmark 97 Slovensko 111
Slovensko only won one of the quarters and that is all they needed to take this game. Slovensko put up some really great ratings and look strong. POTG: Prokop Frenko had a team high 22 points, a game high 5 assists, and a 13.0 rating before fouling out after 27 minutes of action.

1.Belgium(5) 4-0 447 377
2.Portugal(1) 3-1 462 374
3.Slovensko(2) 3-1 458 371
4.Ukraina(3) 2-2 402 377
5.Ísland(4) 2-2 437 448
6.Danmark(7) 1-3 376 411
7.Moldova(6) 1-3 394 463
8.Scotland(8) 0-4 353 508

Island 109 Moldova 113
Both teams won two quarters, but MOldova won those two quarters by wider margins. This is a minor upset, but Moldova did use more effort for this one. This game basically puts an end to Island's shots at advancing.

Portugal 99 Belgium 102
This is definetly an upset. Belgium has been extremely surprising and are the only undefeated in this group. Portugal put up some really really great ratings, but Belgium came out on top.POTG: Walter Luyckz had 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and a 14.5 rating.

Slovensko 119 Scotland 68
Scotland got absolutely beat down in this one. Slovensko put up some even ratings and really dominated. This win puts Slovensko in with a shout at advancing. POTG: Branisalv Drunek had 12 points, 13 rebounds and a 16.5 rating.

Ukraina 81 Danmark 92
Danmark used more effort and stole this one from Ukraina. This loss spelled the end to Ukraina advancing and is a crushing defeat. POTG: Patxi Martin Gonzalez had 17 points, 17 rebounds and a team high 17.5 rating.

My predictions:
Island(35) at Portugal(10)
Portugal needs to win this game, after their loss to Belgium. They should definetly win this one, but Island may have some enthusiasm saved up. Either way Portugal can win. My pick: Portugal.

Danmark(69) at Moldova(51)
Danamrk is coming off their victory over Island where they used more effort. Moldova already has more talent so that is enough to convince me. My pick; Moldova.

Scotland(74) at Belgium(44)
Wow. The undefeated team gets the guarantee win this week. This win will pretty much guarantee them a birth in the next round. My pick; Belgium.

Ukraina(36) at Slovensko(13)
Slovensko needs this victory and Ukraina doesn't have much to play for. Those two combined could cause a hectic game. Slovensko's GS is good and allows them to go either way. Ukraina had a great GS update and could really challenge Slovensko in this one. My pick: Slovensko needs this win and they won't let it slip away.

PHEW! done that took a while :P

Crna Gora(33) at Srbija(6)
Both teams NEED this win. The loser of this game is basically done. This game could get really crazy and lots of effort could be used in this one. Sbija had a great GS update with every player having strong or better GS, they could go either way, while Cran Gora had a gameghape update that will most likely force them to go inside. My pick: Srbija is stronger than Crna Gora and had the better GS update. Crna Gora gets finished after an impressive tournament.

Should be one of the most interesting games today. Though I believe that neighbours are going to play mutual TIE. Let's see..

Makedonija 103 Slovenija 90
I don't know how Makdonija is making this much noise

I do, but I'm not gonna tell you ;)

Good game from your team again, i wouldn't expect that your team lead at half time against french with same effort. And maybe you couuld tell us your secret, after the tournament ;)

The reason of why Slovenia has lost could be easier: (26712.393). Looks like their coach just accidentially has chosen wrong tactics.

I was on vacation, so I have found this thread just now. Their coach accidentally picked 2-3 zone instead of 3-2 zone. But with his selected player for SF (quite low OD) 3-2 zone could have worked even worse than 2-3 zone.

I think the Czech team really lack in the primary skills,so they aren't a top level Nt team;they win against the medium level team because with similar primary skills they have better secondaries because of the philosophy that czezh coach uses also for his club team, but they haven't any chance to make some big surprise, because the top teams have both primary and secondary skills to defeat them

You missed some point. We are still on half way, our team is not ready for big thinks at the moment, but can be in future (I don't know how many seasons it takes). My philosophy is to train primaries for some level (especially for U21 purpose) then train a lot of secondaries and at the end train primaries to final level. And I think difference between our primaries and rest of the world is not so big as you think. Our salaries are lower mainly because of shotblocking and jump range which I don't consider as a primaries.
As you can see on last match against Germany (13535) we are able to play equal match with strong team (6 points difference 14 seconds to go) on equal attitude (and Germany had probably little bit higher enthusiasm because of one more TIE comparing to our team). I consider Germany as a strong team even if they don't have impressive result last 2 seasons. We lost mainly because of fouls, rebounds (boost for Germany in offensive rebounds due to Look Inside) and probably little bit lower enthusiasm.

I was talking about this season tournament, where I see Czech team have very few chances to make an upset.
The best teams don't consider shotblocking a primary skill exactly as you;jump range instead is an important skill for outside shooting efficiency
The weak point of your philosophy,in my opinion,is that you need much more time than the other nations to have competitive players at top level,so I don't know if you can reach a sufficient number of top level players all together to try to defeat the top team(when one player became really competitive, the previous players became yet older)

My defence tactic was 3-2 zone but I played MtM..

I understand your anger, especially seeing Quattrucci numbers in the game
