We were well prepared playing a 3-2 zone against an outside oriented offense. I knew they'd go for a 2-3 zone, so I decided to go for an outside oriented offense as well. The result: 35 to 61 in rebounds. That cost us a game we could have won.

Next game: Austria

The second match in the group is against Romania, a 71-130 defeat.
It turned out to be a failure on all fronts. We could not adequately show ourselves either in attack or defense.
Yes, we played with less spirit again, an important Lawson player was injured and only one player has shape 9. But we have no right to lose 59 points to any opponent.
However, according to the team ratings, we were not so bad.
We are waiting for the next match against Austria, I hope that we will show a much better game

Great performances by our starting five. We are now 2-1.

Next up: North Macedonia

On Monday, both national teams played matches with Austria at once.
Unlike the junior team, the senior team could not win, the defeat was 93-103.
Although we were behind in the score from the beginning of the match, we leveled the game in the second half of the game. We were pretty close to winning, 3:30 before the siren even led by one point. But the clutch was not left for us, and already fouls and free throws helped the opponent to increase the difference.
Nevertheless, I am happy with the game, our attack and defense worked quite confidently.
The next match is with Moldova, we must confidently take the victory.

The NT team played a very nervous match again. Only at the end of the game we managed to defeat Moldova, a victory of 112-105.
We played in a lower mood, but the opponent turned on MOTS. We played quite well in attack, it was difficult in defense, our players fouled a lot, but in the end they coped.
Apparently this will be our only victory, ahead of the match with Sweden, which is going well in the tournament, and then two matches with the grandees. Nevertheless, we have a fairly high enthusiasm, with a good form of players, we will try to fight.
Also congratulations to the u21 team, they are going great in the tournament, the score is 3-1. The opponents ahead are not the most difficult, we can easily go to the playoff. Even if the roster of the team is not the strongest this season.

99-113.
The match against Sweden was pretty good, we even led in the score at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. If I had put up personal protection, maybe they could have won. But the opponent needs a victory more.
Ahead of the match with Israel. The team is in good shape. It is impossible to win, but I hope for a competitive game

The match with Israel was played with dignity, the defeat was 76-101.
The leaders of our team were able to find opportunities to score points. The bench had quite a hard time in this game. One quarter was even drawn.
Tomorrow is the last match in the group with Lithuania, a very strong team.

Yes, he has!

Unfortunately, we've lost two close games in a row which most likely ruined our hopes of advancing in the tournament. I think our gameplan for each game was good, but you cannot win when your opponent hits 14/25 3s (New Zealand) or gets 27 more FT-attempts than you (Armenia)...

I haven't written anything for a long time.
I decided to write a big post.
In general, the season is controversial, the final result in the group is weak, although sometimes the team played great. The European Championship is the most difficult for micronations.
In the last game, the groups could have created a sensation and influenced the distribution of places in the group, but against Lithuania we almost had enough luck.
Scrimmage won against weak teams without big problems, but Turkey destroyed us, perhaps there is more enthusiasm there than we have

Small theses on the players:
Alistair Boyd, SF/PF, 29y, TSP=159
I received an unexpected and very pleasant upgrade at the end of the season. Depending on the emphasis of the team's game, it can be used in any and two positions. An indispensable player of the starting lineup. It is not always effective when attacking the ring, but it is really very versatile. The legend of the team.
Peter Lyle, PG, 30y, TSP=135
The best PG in the team. Also a legend. At the age of 30, he is already in the top 5 scorers in history. He hasn't received upgrades for several seasons, but it's enough to be a regular starter for the team.
Bradley MacShimes, PG/SG, 29y, TSP=131
A player with an excellent distribution of skills for the team, a tip in attack. But, unfortunately, the low stamina level inclines me to use it from the bench. He'll be really good there.
Scott Lawson, SG, 26y, TSP=131
I like the distribution of his skills a little less than Bradley's. But he has a high stamina and he keeps getting better. The main candidate for the starting lineup at the SG position.
Alpin Lochiel, PG/SG/SF, 26y, TSP=128
A little more versatile, but less strong in specialized skills. Does not receive upgrades for quite a long time. The main candidate to come off the bench.
Lee Michael, SF/PF, 27y, TSP=127
A strong and versatile defender with a high stamina. With Boyd, positions can be changed without loss of quality. The main candidate for the role of a starter, but only in good shape.
