Yet I don't understand why Moreno 6-fouled so early in the game - did you set him to defend on the PG ? If so, this is hardly understandable.

I think Joe is making a good point. I also tend to believe that each player has a hidden agressivity level, which determines how rough he defends. This would explain why Moréno makes so much fouls each time, because this isn't the first time this happens you know.
This means i must be extermely unlucky with my current squad in terms of this aggresivity level, because the aggresivity of all my starters seems pretty high.
Too bad this is hidden, so you can never know for sure how aggresive a player defends.
About my setting for Moréno, i didn't make any special settings, just M2M for the whole team.

And I still believe that if I had gotten HCA, you would have had a pretty rough time

I agree, if you would have played at home, it would have been a whole different game, and i probably would not stand a chance for victory. You are pretty unbeatable at home.

This is the answer i got on the BB Global forum (english), which confirms what Joe was saying about a hidden agressivity level :

BB-Forrest has told us that each player has a hidden "physicality" trait which leads players to play more aggressively. These types of players commit and draw more fouls than others with a lower physicality stat. Your players could hypothetically be more aggressive than average.

I haven't looked at your case specifically but things that can also lead to more fouls include playing an up-tempo tactic such as Full Court Press or Run N Gun or Look Inside, defensive mismatches where your players aren't good enough to stop them with defense alone so they resort to fouling, and close games where teams foul as a tactic towards the end. My guess is that none of these are your problem so I'd imagine you have a roster chalk full of aggressive players!

Maybe, I see no other explanation - but I remember having to deal with such a player earlier, and I finally got rid of him, since he could never finish a game.

I have a whole team of it

So you guys are warned, playing against me could mean your best players getting injured... (for example : Carlo Dito in my recent game @Mizu, isn't that right Coach Q ? :shame:)

Maybe i should change my name in Aggresive Eagles

Let's not overdo it, everyone tries to manage to his best and everyone is making mistakes, and believe me I'm making more than my share of those.

Now I must say I have a powerful but balanced team, it's definitely the best I have ever had. I managed to improve the quality of the bench also, no longer relying only on a strong starter 5.

I'll be very disappointed if I can't succeed in "something" this season - but I am also aware that a nasty injury can break any dream. This has already happened once ...

I remember Minwei for I had checked him out on the TL.

A very impressive player indeed, but wouldn't it have been better to spend 3 M on 2 players instead ? Time will tell !
