I remember someone suggesting 3x3 teams for these purposes. I can't remember the exact details but I thought it was a fantastic idea for those, who want more. Personally, I would hate to have additional game days and faster trainings etc. because I value realisticality a lot, that's why BB is unique to me. There are a lot of games, where you have a game each day and they are just exhausting and not-realistic in my opinion.

I like the pace like it is.

Server speed (great improvement, btw), stability (plenty room to improve), getting rid of flash (only a few months left), more modern web site & app (to improve usability on mobile devices and visibility in app stores), maybe a forum overhaul (for better usability), an overhaul of the manual (got a bit messy over the years), and - after fixing the core foundation - again some advertising are IMHO more important for the future of BB than "2x speed". Games like BB which are about long term strategy, planning and management still appeal to a lot of people (and new users with some advertising).

Of course there is enough room to improve the game itself like you did in the past with arena infrastructure or secondary staff. Think about an option to send your team to a stamina training camp once per season (that costs some bucks, of course), a new secondary personal type to take care of older players (less skilldowns for a player of your choice), maybe adding a new cup for Mondays or Sundays ("Best of Division 2/3/4") for some more action, re-think the allstar event (or get rid of it) etc.

But even if the app will take forever to be developed, it would already be way better if this website had a mobile version. That would at least help a bit. I‘m used to navigate this site and therefore am able to do it on a mobile device - but it‘s definitely not much fun and I guess as a new user who‘s mainly playing this game on a smartphone, this would kill the fun right away. Especially since you‘ve got to read a lot when you get started...

An considering 2xserver or something alike: that would definitely get me out of this game. The faster a game moves, the faster I‘ll quit. For me the weekly schedule is perfect and shouldn’t be changed. At least not for me. But hey - i‘m 10 years older than when I started playing so I guess I‘m just old

Well, the schedule of the core game will probably never be changed in a dramatic fashion like Alonso suggests - but hey, that's only for the basic - vanilla - BB. Other options are still there, making Utopia weeks last 3 days instead of 7 or have more games per week or something else. I'm open to that. But, there needs to be a real discussion about it.

BB has proven over and over again that it is not a typical internet "fad" or "money grab" like most internet based games. That means a lot to me, I wanna keep it that way. Yes the game is slow comparing to today's standards. But also, this game attracts a different breed of people, who prefer it at the pace it already is.

So, since this discussion is veering heavily toward the suggestions forum, I might end up moving it there. So far, I don't mind hearing opinions as long as we stay civil and constructive.

I like the strategic aspect of this game, I loved to play at Civilization instead of Age of empire so peace is perfect for me. No need to rush in a game too.
Agree about the fact that "bug" is not the correct part of the forum to discuss about new suggestions btw you need to pay attention cause forum in these days seems not so active and the result of pool and/or suggestions may be not rapresentative of the majority.
