You deserved to be in EBBL, well done mate and hold your head up high. This has been a very tough season.

Selling Bujalska when you've worked that hard...not sure I could do it (definitely not at that age) myself. If I had 5m I'd have taken him on I think.

Shame I had to relegate a 12-10 decent team J Dog. It feels a bit unfair, you play properly all season and just miss out on 4th, I've got 5 wins and a nonsense negative PD but reinforced my team (slightly more than I meant to really) at the end and 2 good games keeps me up...
Hope to see you back and hope you still play BB. Your brother mentioned in chat the other day you might be losing interest? Sell Zunliang, buy cheaper C and you'll be back up next season hopefully. D2 can be more fun than D1 at times I reckon.

Today reminded me of another relegation series I was in ages ago, both times I've thought I was the underdog. I've dug and it can only have been season 39, playing BC Atletas (who I only just found out are the same team as BC Zalgiris :D maybe that explains why you seem to hate playing me...). I had home advantage that time though. If it wasn't that series it was another where I remember having bad GS and the other teams being great...

I've been in the EBBL a long time now. Still swimming it seems, just about. Possibly swimming in circles, but we'll see what happens next season...

Yee my heart has been broken after selling Bujalska...

I might stick at lower leagues for some time and train multiple Bujalskas xD.

All depends on selling some of my players and this year drfatees.

I think I dodged a bullet there. I was fully expecting to lose the second game. To be fair, I gambled a bit in the first game, Normalling and walking right into the 3-2 zone and it backfired (my reasoning was that I had better GS and there was no guarantee of that being the case afterwards and I was suspicious you might Normal as well).

I'm sure you will be back but you should have kept Bujalska!

That was very close matchup.

New owner has assured me that he will develop Bujalska further.

He is from Turkey so maybe our NT coach has pulled some strings and found him right place where he can be 145+ player.

Maybe you should buy Needham now, so I can buy some new trainees with the Utopia team, but since I have quite a bit of money there, I may be tempted to go for promotion next season and have a go at D1 title the following season.

I think Bujalska should have got a bit more money. If you sold him before the playoffs he definitely would have.

I thought I could win.
Had never been planning to be relegated just after one season.

Thanks for having me for the last few seasons, been a pleasure.

Have been slowly saving up scouting points and after last year poor draft thought it might be a good time to invest these points into a decent draftee. Fingers crossed.

Shout out for Bergkamp for training his rookies and saving me from fan boycott. 😁

Hope to be back sooner rather than later.

Peace and beers.

It happens when a. people train youngsters and have to give away games, b. cup gives or takes 1 or 2 wins depending on the draw, c. people buy at the end of the season like Bergkamp. You and J Dogs would have stayed up most seasons, especially without training or with some luck in the cup (J Dogs just needed 1 extra win during the season to avoid relegation altogether). Even the rankings in the EBBL are now so close that I just realised I'm now ranked 4 in England after being 10 or 9 most of the season.

In any case Bujalska is still salary controlled, so it would have been a great piece in D2. Incidentally D2 may be more profitable than D1 for non-promoted teams that are stuck in the middle of the conference with a relatively worse world and national ranking. D2 in Utopia was more profitable than D1 for me despite the fact that I was below the salary floor in D1.
