Hi everybody and Turix especially. =)
My actions heavily depend on market prices.
Hope for promotion but have no intention of buying overpriced junk.

i just noticed that our salary floor is a bit more than $60,000. could this be true? that our TV contract is $76,000 or so? i won't be at the salary floor for three or four seasons or more!

Look like this tournament round was pretty tough for our league.

i had not noticed -- you are most certainly correct -- 3 wins, 11 losses, and as i write, 2 games to play.

but i am finding the managers are trying so many different approaches -- i am going to be playing a team with only 5 players. i've seen some teams with foreign players. would love to see what teams are spending on training and coaches.

i must say, though, i hope i win tonight -- at this level, $50,000 is a lot of money.

i am pleasantly surprised we are being charged for our actual player salaries, not for the league minimum. right now, i make money even if i do not play a home game in a given week.

You're lucky to be in a conference where no one's really spending money. There's some big money players in my league... all the way up to a $50k center.

Well maybe it's lucky for me too... since I was able to hold your first place (undefeated) Monstars to only 50 points despite getting CT'd tonight!

you speak about not caring about transient meaningless concerns like "winning" and "losing", but for me, i practice it every day! i figure i want to train, hoping to turn my trainees into starters sometime over the next two seasons -- not a difficult task, actually, but one that entails losing 80% of my games. but i figure, what can be done to me? where can i be relegated?

you, on the other hand, have a monopoly on the precious $5000 - $7000 player, smart enough to be good, and good enough to be smart, who i remember from distant seasons past were very very good at this level --

so, Mr. Rabbit, you are off -- eventually this turtle may catch you.
