Overtime Thriller!
We had to play the host Macau this week and it was one of the most emotional game yet! At half the Philippines managed to lead the game 51-30, and even lead the game for at most 23 points, but Macau did not give up, who managed to tie the game and complete the comeback with 25 seconds left in regulation and had the ball on the last second of the game. At overtime, it was a boxing match where both sides where trying to get momentum. Raul Remaneses took over with 8 points and 2 assists during overtime and scored the last 2 points to snatch the game from the hosts 103-101. Gabino Cabello flirted with a triple double who had 21 points 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Lyle Morrissey also contributed 20 points. Our bigs was busy as they were the target of the offense of our opponent. Nilo Caniga got 14 boards 3 steals and 3 blocks whereas the veteran Fortunato Arcega got 7 boards and 3 blocks.
