I don't know about Minwei because i haven't seen his stats. But i'm sure if you're willing to spend more than 6M on him, he must be worth it.
One thing i know for sure though, and that's that in my opinion you already had the best current BBBL player on your roster, and that's Ken Neudt. It's even more special because you drafted him yourself, and you trained him up until the level he is at now. So it's all your own merit. Ken is a real monster player, and every team has a very difficult time to defend him.
Yea, Ken is really one of a kind, that special type of player that only come by very rarely. For me, he is in the same "division" as was Connor Marshall of Vottem. Those kind of players are the best of the best...true diamonds...

He should be the mascot of Providence when he retires

Say Nat, when you drafted Neudt, what age did he have 18 or 19 ?

This weekend it's Kelmis @ AmenRa !

I'm very curious as to the outcome of this game.

The way i see it, after the recent "monster" purchases of AmenRa, and counting the fact he's playing at home, makes me think AmenRa is a slight favourite for this game.

So i say, AmenRa 60% chance of winning, Kelmis 40%.

Ofcourse, if it would have been Kelmis at home, it would have been another ballgame.

Nonetheless, a very important game for the battle of the title !

Thanks, having an homegrown player gives many satisfaction ;) Nobody scout him before the 4th place in the draft, I remember he was 18 A, with "5 balls" on potential & lvl. At that time, my noob skills couldn't develop a player like that without Dartreb & Joe advices, we are very lucky to have them ;)

Wooow, a draft player who is 18hrs old, has A skills, 5 balls on potential and another 5 ball on level.
That's a diamond in the making, indeed.

I wish i could once have the opportunity to draft such a player, then i would make him my first draft choice ofcourse.
But can you believe that in 15 seasons of drafting, I NEVER ever have seen such a player on my draftlist !
Although i always invested 10k weekly on the draft, and always spend a lot of draft points to make my choice.

But since the beginning of this season, i decided not to invest anymore currently. Maybe that could change in the future, but for the moment i don't invest in it anymore. Because most of the time, it doesn't pay off, for me it didn't anyway.
The only time i had a decent player was two seasons ago with Stef Colla, who was bought by SGOLBA for 411k.
But still not near the quality of what Neudt was, when you drafted him.

There was no game from me at Amenra because I knew static would send everything he could. Right now I cannot compete with him on his ground that's for sure, and I needed training time for Gaethofs (whose training is my primary objective).

On the other hand I could lose by too much of a margin, thus I sent in 3 starters, I expected to lose by less than 30 points, which didn't occur because of my SG's early injury.

I think that I have let my chance slip through my hands - defeats at Ventola and vs gringalets were mistakes from me, the type of ones that will cost me dearly in the money time.

Nevertheless I still have a strong squad, I should get without problem through the cup games this week, and then we'll see.

Guys,

There is something i don't quite understand :

Suppose the same team wins the championship AND the cup.
In that case, is there a second Belgian team that gets to participate in BB tournament (for example the other playoff finalist), or is it only one team then ?

I thought in that case, there was only one team to go to Buzzrbeater Best.

BUT :

For example, when you look at Germany last season, Augustiner 75 won the championship AND the cup and ESV Laim was finalist in the playoffs.

I should think that in that case, only Augustiner goes to the BB, right ?

WELL THIS WAS NOT THE CASE however, since also ESV Laim went to Buzzerbeater best (you can see it if you go to Buzzerbeater Best there are two german teams), so how can that be explained ?
Becasue for Belgium on the other hand, last season Vottem was the only Belgian team to go to Buzzerbeater best although we had the same situation as in Germany, but the result for teams in Buzzerbeater Best was different than what happened in Germany, 2 teams for Germany, only 1 team for Belgium !

How can that difference between Germany and Belgium be explained, isn't it the same for all countries ?
I don't understand why the difference.

Anyone knows the answer ?

Laim won the B3 years ago and therefore is automatically qualified for the B3 every season.

There is one other case where this could have happened - actually happened to me once: there was one team needed to make the number in B3 and in this case the lucky loser is chosen following the highest world ranking.
