I've seen the odd Canadian NT game before, Jamal Murray impressed me when I watched one a few months back. Kelly Olynyk is injured at the moment right? Anthony Bennett actually looks like he can play at times too.

Ok I looked up last night's game...gotta be fairly impressive to win without KO, Wiggins, Murray, Nicholsen...why are they all out? If it's just prioritising the NBA then you'd think Tristan Thompson would choose to rest too after his season.

Looking into the tournament more...France gotta be favourites with De Colo, Parker, Diaw? Batum in the squad but didn't play yesterday. Might watch some if I can work out what time they're on / find a stream.

I'm an NT noob but from reading the rules what I understand is the 4 best 3rd place teams (or 4 best records of teams not in the top 2?) go into a consolation tournament. There's 5 teams in Europe on 4-1 who aren't in the top 2 so getting into that looks unlikely. Next two games are winnable though and with Belgium and the Swiss playing Russia and Serbia finishing 3rd is possible. So we're hoping for Rus/Serb winning both games. It may not count for anything, but it'd look pretty good! Lots better than 5th.
