Shang Lan Qiu has taken the double in Taiwan's first BB season. Last weekend saw twohands down tainanherb in the Game 3 tie-breaker. Additional congrats for the cup win; good luck next season --things may not be so easy.
MVP RACE
Former NT player and Rain of Pain PF Xian Chee Weng has been named MVP for the previous season. The Taiwanese all-rounder likely got the nod due to his strong ball-handling ability and commitment to fitness, as well as the typical attributes of a good big man.
DRAFT
The draft has been completed -- young stars have been found. Train them up, see the results.
NATIONAL TEAM
Season 3 had its ups and downs for the NT, but the team is looking very strong for the future. Each active team in Taiwan should have a member on the squad, as well as a few all-stars being trained abroad. Sorry, you teams with Chinese names -- I cannot send you messages for some reason. Despite missing out on qualification for the World Cup (some heart-breaking losses), we capped the last season with a win over the highly-ranked Tounes. Great play from our back-ups was a positive sign.
