yeah good luck, i don't think there is ever much talk in the league forums. do you follow the NT or the u-21 team. if so what are you training? i usually check in on the offsite forum and keep a eye on potietial u-21 team guys on the TL and if your a good manager who wants to develop a u-21 guy. i can let you know know there are guys on the TL that could make the u-21 one day.

Would love to follow both but I just haven't had the time the past year. I have 2 stellar prospects from the draft to work with my reativily young team.
I'm a pretty good manager who has gotten 2 bad league alignments. Season 13 shot me from III.12 to II.1. My team was no where near ready to compete at that level. And I had to re-work my team despite knowing I was going to be relegated. then I relegated here from II.1. Which make no sense that I drop that much.
I'm sure it will be a tough season.

once you get relegated from divsion II is doesn;t mean they send you to III 1 all the III are the same 1 thru 16 so just because you were in III 12 and went up and came back down doesnt mean III 12 is better than III 16 there all pretty much equal. same with II 1 isn't stronger than 2.

One thing that i would suggest is trying to keep your canadian talent and buy canadian talent when possible. i've started that last season and i am already ranking in 20 more in mercidise than the league average so i would assume its only going to go up as i keep the guys i've drafted.

Now obvisouly you are doing much better than me anyway but its just a suggestion and one that i think helps your team long term and and maybe if you keep both of them guys one or both could make the U-21 and you'd be looking at more profit just from keeping your canadian talent.

one of the main probelms we have in canada is our NT suffers from terrible game shape our best players always have terrible game shape. i'd like to eventually turn my superstar guard into a guard for the U-21 in 4 years times but time will tell.

I get that it doesn't mean that but II.1 promotes to the Nasmith. So it should follow a ladder system and be a little less jumpy.
I agree about Canadian talent. But I have found that the Canadian talent is extremely overpriced when you starting looking for better players. There just isn't enough depth to keep the prices sensible. I'm over merchandise as well by 11 over the average.
You should really look at the canadian PG and the PF I just put on the TL. The only reason I TL'ed the PG was because he won't get the opportunity to grow on team. I just looked at your team and you could use a young PG. Huard could be very good. But my 2nd round from season 14 will be better.
I think both my season 14 picks could be U21 guys.

it would be nice to purchase another young trainee however i have less than 100k in the bank because in recent seasons i have wasted money instead of building up my arena so i needed to do that big time.

you were right about that Div II.1 promotes to Naismith, but so does the 3 other Div II leagues. No matter which league your in it doesnt matter cause III. 16 is as good as any other Div. III league and each one will promote a team into a division higher

im following the U-21 team a little bit more than the NT, having to produce the best talent in so few years is great and it has to feel good to see your player going to those types of teams.

Also, im not sure about the more canucks you got in your team, the more merchandise you get. One of my friends once bought non-Canadian players to help his team and fired his only Canadian player and got a 26k raise of his merchandise. You may be right, but i think this is not the only solution to it
