Tootsies/Werewolves, battling it out for 2nd place, has gotta be the big game Tuesday, but Wisco has to beat Gloversville to have any hope of not relegating, and Ballin' Gophers/Clipshipmen is probably a bigger game than the records indicate ... rivals, *and* TV, so a lot of money at stake, and I'm not counting the Gophers out of the playoff picture given how strong they came on at the end of last year.

Yeah - funny how that happens. Wolves got a huge win, but that crunch will really put them in a bind this saturday - as Cruxaders will have a big enthusiasm advantage.

I think this Saturday's games will be a very interesting end to the first 1/3rd of the season. Mt. Olive @ Divine and NYD @ clpshipmen are two big games from a standings perspective. Project X also needs a win to get some distance from relegation (although PX has lots of money to grab 2 or 3 players after the all-star break if needed). My boys are trying to get some extra rest tonight and Saturday . . . we have a big game on Tuesday.

My team probably won't win this matchup. My team has only won once on the road, against the Seawatch Seagulls, and by only 3. I just don't think we'll be able to pull it off yet, I need to save up some money and get at least one more good player before I'm ready to start winning on the road consistently. But with the Big 8 teams coming up, I feel I need a few upsets to stay above .500.

Could not take the chance against Toots. For some reason, my guys don't match up well against his team. I needed that one game cushion, early on, before injuries start occuring.

Wow. I had a tough go against Ballin' Gophers, making a big comeback starting late in the 2nd and grabbing my first lead in the 4th quarter! Somehow pulled it off at the end. Then I see there was this amazing game between London and Participants, with a huge 1 point upset victory for Participants! Wow. Never saw that one coming!

Thanks! I have a bunch of big men now, and 3 guys for SF, SG, and PG. But it seemed to work in this first game with the new lineup. Of course, I only have 8 players, so any injuries could be devastating.

Divine Dragons against Clipshipmen... not a shocker, but a surprise given the effort. Tootsies not just beating London, but by 29 points... that was a shocker. And grats to Team Checkmate with their first win!
