it was introduced some time ago in order to lower day trading (ie: if you buy and sell the same day you will only receive 80% of the price) but I am wondering if it has worked at all!

I am saying that because you can go to the transfer history of any team and chose any player you want, you will see something strange...

Normally for the team who bought the player you should have (lets just give a number): bought player A for 100 000. You then go to the team who sold the same player and if the system was working shouldn't you have a different number? (97 000 if it was 97%, 82 000 if it was 82% and so on...). The problem is that for both teams you will get 100 000!

So is the system working?

No, you sold him for 100k, but you'll receive less. It will be listed on the transfer history as 100.000 but when you go to your economy page you'll definitely see 80.000.

Nop the selling the prices shown in transfer history are the buying price and selling price. Actually the seller recives little less than the price shown ( transfer fees aren't shown to others )

I, myself have sold a few players since the new rule and it sure does work.
