4 Teams with players on the U21 squad from our League? I have not seen that before. Congrats guys! Welcome to the new teams and good luck to all in Season 35.

Seems like a very young league. I have a U21 SF but I messed him up last season trying to train too many players. Will do best to catch up what I can this season.

We have added some competitive managers the last couple of seasons, this could be one of the better seasons. I have been doing almost exclusively team training for the last four or five seasons. It is very slow even with superior and above level trainers. I've resisted making a big purchase, and we haven't been that close to promoting.

I got a little impatient at the end of last season and sold a couple of players I should have held onto. They weren't superstars but had enough skill points to keep us a little more competitive. Xsafe to say the Preyers won't be promoting this season and I may have to change training methods to keep up; lots of teams getting better.

Anyone know what's up with Team Georgia Elite?

They got rid of all their players almost and have forfeited every game so far o.O

I would guess he's going for draft choices. That strategy can work sometimes to get a team jump started. If you're a bad team anyway, it can be worth the lost season. The problem can be when 2 or 3 teams do the same thing. And in any case, it's always a crap shoot. I finished last in upper league last season, spent $40k per week on scouting, and still got nothing, lol.

Sometimes you get lucky without spending any points for scouting. Last draft I got a hall of famer 3k salary guard.

Well he's already lost 5 draft spots from the forfeits, so if that was the idea, it wasn't a good one... >.>

You have to still actually play the games to get the draft spot.

I really put this out as just friendly advice: I'm surprised at how many teams play league games at an effort higher than "Take it Easy". Team enthusiasm is critical to performing well in the playoffs. If you don't need added effort to make the playoffs, don't waste team energy on league games. You'll just hurt yourself in the only important games, the playoffs. Who is in first place at the end of the season means nothing. Only winning the playoffs will get you promoted.

Eh... if my Enthusiasm is maxed already, I might play at Normal since I can't really raise it higher anyway... at least mid-season against a tough opponent. You only really need to TIE for the last 3-4 games to get it back up to max for the playoffs if you've kept it relatively high otherwise.

That's amazing as I don't think I've ever maxed my enthusiasm. You must be doing something right .

And, you are right, you can build your enthusiasm fairly quickly (maybe 5-6 games), but if you and I are even in every other way, and my enthusiasm is a couple levels higher than yours, I'll probably win 9 out of 10 games.
