Hey everyone! Sorry for just now getting to posting on these forums. It is hard for me to stay active all the time, but I'm looking forward to playing everyone in this league this season. I hope we can get some activity on the forums. I've struck out on that in most of my leagues.

What are everyone's goals for trainees/team this season?

This is an exciting time for my team. We're entering our 7th full season as a franchise, which means my first draft class (Ragsdale and Barrios) is also in their 7th training season, while Homer Knowles is in his 6th.

Our schedule is pretty rough in the early going. Lost our first three matches and got knocked out of the tournament in the first round. Lots of back-to-back road games through the first leg. We're on a 3 game win streak with the top team on my side coming to town so I'm hoping for a nice payday this Tuesday.

My last 2 seasons have ended with losses to Backcourt Violation, if I can keep that streak alive I should be doing alright.

I would just keep focusing on building up your arena because no matter what if you promote into DII you will need the revenue to field a competitive roster. Backcourt seems like an early favorite on that side of the league.

I am in my 14th season I guess (or 13th, not really sure because I joined with one week left in S23). This isn't my first team either, I've been playing this game since S10. The past 10 seasons or so, probably 2 or 3 I have actually been heavily involved in gameplanning and strategy. Most of that time has been spent building up trainees, but I've been fortunate enough to have success while training. First it was Theo Edmond and Markus Owens, now it is Frank Carmichael and all the young guys I got.

I have about a three season window to make it to the NBBA because once Theo and Markus start decreasing in skill, I'll lose the two main cogs to my team. I don't think Frank, George, or Ross will be good enough to make it to the big leagues by that point, but I think I can be a high level DII team by that point. I definitely train for TSP more than anything. Salary-efficient players are the way I roll.

My goal for this season is to win the league. I won't be able to play my best lineup until the playoffs due to training, so I won't really know exactly where I'm at until then.

What the heck is going on here? Half the league's players are hurt and the other half are up for sale ...

Lol -- personally, I have three players I'm trying to offload. This is a semi-rebuild year for me, although I'm doing it while still trying to win.

I currently have the highest paid bench in the league (I think, by a wide margin) and am looking to consolidate talent.
