Hi everybody from Azerbaijan!
Thanks for my election, but now we just have to think to be pragmatic.
I saw all Azerbaijan players and I collected their data in a database as I promised. So with a good scouting job it will be easier to follow every player, and I need your collaboration in that!
Soon I will contact every owner and I will start to propose a plan of growth, just wait! :)
For the tournament, it's very hard for us! However I think that we won't be the last, but I don't want to pronosticate anything, at the end of the season we'll see!
Anyway, the most important thing to me is not how we'll do this season but HOW we'll grow up younger players! In this I think 2 seasons are not enough, but I'm sure efforts will be repaid and nothing of this will be vain!
I hope you could increase your partecipation to the forum!
Greetings!

Well, I can do a first balance of the roster we have.
The actual roster is a good roster! We have good internal and external players, maybe we miss a good SF but I know that it's not so easy for a little nation like Azerbaijan. So, that's the roster I will use for this season:

-Şöhrət Cümşüdov : he's the best PG we have, good OD and PA, we have to improve the shot but he's the best, anyway
-Kamal Xudadatov : pretty good SG, maybe we should have to use him as SF beacuse of the great quantity of external players
-Üzeyir Yusifov: he's 20, maybe the best SG prospect for the next year, but he can be useful this season yet
-Paşa Hacı: 20 too, we have to work about him but he's one of the best actually
-Qaçar Şükürlü : same situation of Cümşüdov , a little bit back but he's 20, next season he'll be a main character
-Bilen Ordubadlı: 20, very good, he needs some little improvements
-İmran Lütfəliyev : 20, still good but maybe he's neither meat nor fish, he can be used as SF or SG but we have to work hard on him to have a complete player
-Yarar Şahbazov: 20, actually a great shooter, if trained in OD for all the season he can be a pillar for next season
-Artur Laytinen: 20, for this season he can be useful as SF, for next season we have to improve internal skills becuase there is a lack of this kind of players among the 19-20
-Ziya Sayadov : 21, pure PF, needs RB
-Elten Əsgərov: 21, the best internal player
-Vyktor Derkach : still good but excessively popped in RB despite of ID or IS
-Baydar Səfixanov : another good internal players as C
-Müşvüq Babayev: just like Səfixanov

How you can see we have a lot of good external 20 (and also 19, for the future), but there is a deep lack of internal players. we need centers! So I invite who's reading and owning a possible C for the U21 NT to train him, we need it!
I wil send a BBmail to all interested owners to unterstand the disponibility.

I put here the guide lines for an hypotetic U21 player:
SG: JS 14 JR 10-11 OD 14-15 HA 12 DR 12 PA 8-9
PG: JS 11-12 JR 8-9 OD 14-15 HA 12 DR 12 PA 12-13
SF: JS 8-9 JR X OD 9-10 HA 9-10 DR 9-10 PA X IS 8-9 ID 9-10 RB 7-8
PF and C: IS 14-15 ID 14-15 RB 10-11 (+2 RB for C and JS 7-8 for PF)

I hope you can understand me.
Greetings

And so, first game is gone.
We lost against Srbija for 75-99, but I've seen a very good team for the first 2 quarters, when we played point to point. Then, Əsgərov went off for fouls, and the match began too difficult for us in defense.
We have so much to work on, but I'm sure that we can do a good way in this tournament!
MVP: Səfixanov, best scorer and rebounder
LVP: Yusifov, poor in scoring and defense, we've to look for a role

Other game, other loss.
However, it was too difficult for us against this Eesti, 8th force in u21 world.
I tried a low post, just to use our centers and power forwards, so 2 playmakers as guard to have a better circulation. Despite I hoped, attack didn't work so well and so I have to experiment some other ways. Next games against Hungary and Portugal will be very important to collect entusiasm and try other strategies, waiting for the games we have to win.
MVP: no one derserves MVP prize for this game
LVP: I should list so much players, but Esgerov sure played quite bad, but I have to say his opponent was a wall, he'll play better

Azerbaijan-Hungary
Differently by other games, I decided to change focus, so that I used motion.
It worked quite well, and the loss was very limited.
Now Portugal, it's almost impossible to win.
MVP: Haci, great scorer in this game
