Its a new season, How's everyone feeling this season?

Team Gamewinners is probably the favorite to win it all this season, but Human Fund, and myself seem to like our odds a bit too.

Best of luck to everyone. Detroit Blackout, shout-out to you after the sum of money you came into.

It does look like Gamewinner's season...Though Walla Walla has enough to be in the mix if he decides to make a run. The Kelts are right there at the top too. Oreos and BuffState are the grizzled veterans of this league so I'll never count them out.
And I think Knickerbockers likes flying under the radar and might make some surprising moves this season. As for our side specifically and you and me are pretty much dead even Randy. If forced to make a call on this season I will give myself a very slight edge but I do think your team is better set up for the long run. Im glad we are getting some more managers that stick with the teams. What are everyone's thoughts on this Star Player addition? I'm not too sure how to feel about it.

My take on the star player.

Great for newer managers.
for grizzled vets/experienced teams, It's a complete lottery crap shoot of worthless to totally helpful

I got extremely lucky with my guy. He was exactly like what I had been looking for in TL since all star break last year, only better. and I got him for free, vs constantly being outbid in the 300ks.

So i got lucky as hell.

In addition from what I have seen looking at others posted, and seeing free agent ones that were fired. The range of the skills is incredibly diverse. So even, for newer managers, if they werent new, there'd of been no guarantee guy would have even been helpful anyways.

But as far as keeping new managers interested here longer, its a good start

Edit: It also helps the smaller countries out, anyway you look at it too, which is good for them also.

Well, not much I can say about the star player thing as I just skipped it. That's what you get for not paying attention to the season update post.

Team Game Winner is going to be tough to beat, veteran guards and a very talented, young front court. Sort of what I tried to do, but he did it better. Although, it is a long season so let's how it plays out.

Yes, it's good to see more managers and people staying active, sort of nice once in a while to be able to just set your match tactics and know your getting a blow out win, but not that fun when it happens every day.

Good luck in the cup guys, a couple of us could make some decent run's if we don't get hurt with an elite team as an early seed.

There's a way to "re-set" the tutorial thing if you skipped over it. But fair warning it will force you to fire your "cheapest/worst" player to complete. so you might want to buy some scrub off tl for 1k to fire.

Yeah, a 19 year old star who starts out at over 6k is not someone you sell, it's someone you keep around, even if you don't train that posistion on a regular basis.

Well, I'd rather have that 100K considering I wouldn't be training him. He sold pretty high at a low potential especially for having some holes I didn't want to fix. Good luck!

League looks pretty competitive thus far. Im going to make a push now. Im tweaking my lineups and feel I can be a dark-horse. I do regret getting Estrada tho. Doesnt really fit my scheme and he's out of my training rotation. Oh well.

Go get em oreos! None of us newer managers have your experience so you could definitely make a run at the top dogs. Which obviously does not include me this season.
