Hey guys
Just got my utopia team and can't wait to get started. The plan is to train some players and build arena and hopefully, I'll be ready to compete in a couple of seasons. What're your goals for the season?

Well good luck with that! Judging from the first game I'll probably have to get used to a lot of losses here in the first season

Well, third win in a row now. Definitely going better than expected. I was hoping for some more activity here on the forum though, since everyone is paying to be here..

Greetings to all!
Decided to start playing from the beginning :)
Its my first day with 2nd team, so still dont know which way I will play.
Im online since Season 2, and playing with homegrown players....thinking to do the same with this team as well.
Good luck to everyone, fulfilling Your goals :)

Welcome! A fully homegrown team sounds fun, and I actually considered trying it when i got my utopian team in the beginning of this season. I eventually decided that training an 18 yo. PA with 40 TSP and some older guys with low potential wasn't for me after all. But good luck with the project, definitely sounds challenging ;)

Well, the only thing that Im sure about - this project is made not for winning :) but training focus, as many utopia teams made for :)

Well, maybe it's just me, but I don't really find it fun to train utopian players unless it's for winning. It's not a real country, and therefore no NTs to play for - unfortunately. Initially, I wanted my trainees to be all danish, but couldn't find three that met my requirements whom I could afford. I really think it's a shame that utopian players don't have a real nationality. Wish they would allow us to draft players in Utopia with our own nationality - or just any nationality for that sake. Probably not going to happen though

Yes, indeed. In utopia, building homegrown team is a bit different. Im not focused on NT players, but still, players are lithuanian. So yes, I will work on training lithuanians only. Plus, few weeks after draft, prices are riduculas for really good player, which will bring some cash in 3-4 seasons.

I have recently started to build towards an all-finnish team with my utopia team. I cannot buy the very best trainees to start with but I think they'll be alright once trained. Then another wave of trainees and then another :D
