I was in this league for Season 33. I don't recall if I learned anything. I somehow won 4 games, but otherwise it was a blur. Still, I'm looking forward to this go-around!

A generalized montage of action welcomes us in

Announcer: tonight the season starts anew but it could be unlike any other seen before. Points of emphasis are changing and it will be those who navigate through these ports who will reap the greatest benefits.

One game in my team's got a few rebounds... Issaquah still almost beat my underwhelming team playing a PG on steroids at center every minute of the game, but since The Chunks had the only real PFs and Cs in the lineup, I've got two players ranked #1 and #2 in total and offensive rebounds, and the league's #3 only had half as many rebounds as my #2. Crazy stats.

I'm afraid that if it took OT to win a match like that, the real beatings for the Chunks are just around the corner. I'll enjoy a victory where I can steal on (or rebound one!), it's only going to get rough from here, and I see Issaquah is already reloading and will probably demolish the Chunks the next time around.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

The generals scratch for the first time to level the record. Katsumata killed it in the first half dropping 31, then disappeared until reignighting in the final minutes to finish with 40. Copeland was a beast on the boards and Kubucus or whatever his name is distributed the ball well at the point. I feel ok about the 1,3 &4 not so much about the 2&5. Depth ain't great but it's serviceable. I would like a few more asses in the seats to bulge the profit line but at least we are trending upward. But my guys are creaky as F.

Well congrats on trending upward. I just got the welcome to a D.II return I was expecting against Arizona, and I'm trying to figure out how in the heck I'm going to deal with the Ballstars loaded lineup with what I've got and I'm probably going to have pray for maybe four or six Ballstar injuries in the first half of that game to have any hope of scratching out a win. So I'd appreciate it if the Generals stopped trending upward for the next week so maybe I'll stand a chance of winning another game before the opener next season back in D.III. Thank you for your cooperation.

But your the new rival. A few seasons back we did have what was a pretty contentious RL series. As for any upward trajectory, that is by accident, of course only in bb can you lose and see your rank go up.

Yeah, that was a D.III relegation series I lost and I'm still using the same two starting guards (okay, one is now relegated to a back-up role/swing SF starter...), so that should be pretty telling about how overmatched my team is now in D.II. Therefore, I should be able to pick out which of your players get to be in the starting lineup and where they get to play. (I pick Pete Tanner to start at center, and Leroy Brown will be your starting PG. I'll let you know about the rest of your lineup next week.)
