Well if Eckert didn’t wrap up this league, then Keith surely did. Devine, Kang and those guys, you look NBBA ready.

Stick with the 1-4 matchup and you might just get a free pass in the 1st round of the playoffs...

I know you have withdrawn from the playoffs and taken the auto promote in the past but I can’t figure out why. Why not advance to the conference finals to collect the extra paycheck then withdraw? It’s in the same financial period so you just collect an extra $175k or so. Then there is the better fan bonus at the next level and I believe season ticket holders for the league champions promoting up. Just seems like an I’ll advised financial train wreck. What am I missing?

I wouldn’t worry about it. If he wants to tank let him tank so you can stack enthusiasm for the next round. I am just curious as to why? That’s giving up a lot of cheddar over the next 10-12 weeks. Could be a half million dollar swing end of the day.

Not really a big mystery - I committed to getting the at-large spot as my ticket to the NBBA. That meant going 21-0 or 20-1 at worst. To do that, I have often been playing normal to get regular season wins and have not built up any enthusiasm for a playoff run. Economically, I don't think it means all that much. Even if I loose out on half a million on revenue, I'm also not paying salaries for an additional week.
