Sorry guys, left post game updates too quiet this season! We have started our consolation tourney well for those following on the offsite thread. Our first real challenge starts this week. Managers with players have all been contacted, training plans have been really positive so far. Please keep bbmailing me with questions and updates, whether they are in the team or not, I will get back to you! Might do a mid season review after this week and reveal mid point mvps...

An important loss last night, we put our best team out there, but England overpowered us inside. I'd have liked to seen our star SF play the game out, as he may have changed things alone. Games have was great though, so we need to dig our heels in for the next month.

Hmm I'm calling a rough result there for our nation. Lost on the buzzer to Norway. Team is in fantastic shape and pops are flying along, so well done to the managers. Unfortunately that one hurts.

Not immediately related to the U21 but I decided it was time to try my hand at running two teams again so I can get double the draftee chances for our U21. Yes, it's a Korone reference.

That was a pretty epic gdp by Germany. Well done to them Blocking any hope we had with that haymaker. LI certainly wasn't our strength this season, so to guess it was a credit to the manager and scouting team. I'm away from home right now so if it's OK will do up the mvp tally when o get a chance to sit for a few hrs.

Season 55 mvp wrap up
Below is this seasons mvp count:
Lund- 1, 2, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1, 3= 15 votes
Dykes- 3, 3, 2, 3, 3= 14 votes
MacRae- 1, 3, 3= 7 votes
Feaster- 1, 2, 2, 2= 7 votes
O'Sullivan- 2, 3= 5 votes
Fitzhenry- 2, 1= 3 votes
Ho, Lambkin and Roest had 1 each.

Congrats Aussie Pride taking out a very close count and beating our u21 specialist Cove Convicted. Both fellah had great seasons, the consistency of Lund ended up the difference with him polling in 8 of the 9 games.

I'm now turning to scouting on the phone for a week, so if you have an up and coming 19 or 20yr old, send me his skills and I'll consider him for a scrimmage on Monday.
