GForce, what happened!?

1. My rev patient guy got injured during game
2. Heath Jones injury messed up my rotation for the week
3. Losing passion for BB

When you lose passion, just get a bunch of thugs that foul like crazy like I did. Then you can get angry instead. Plus be responsible for half of the injury report.

Although I still don’t understand the game engine. Our game ratings show my defense is better and yet you shoot 40% to my 25%. I have a much stronger team rebounding rating and get out-rebounded. I have more assists, less turnovers, more steals, more blocks, and lost by 19 at home. I understand you had a better offense, but it feels a little off to me. Even the personal player ratings were higher in my side. The team with the higher salaried players win most of the time, even if your team ratings are better in so many categories. I may as well just get 5 guys who are 100k+ and 5 backups that have 5k salaries. I think it would get better results than having any kind of depth. Depth matters not in Buzzerbeater. This is the end of my rant guys, sorry.

If anyone has been following any of the NBBA forum posts, Mediocrity has been providing the NBBA with weekly power rankings. I saw this and was inspired by his creativity and he was generous enough to show me how he calculates it.

The way the system works is it gathers data from buzzermanager and ranks teams on a 400 point scale. With 100 points coming from each of the following categories:

W/L record
Point Differential
Total Team Salary
Cup performance

I have tweaked the formula for our league and lessened the importance of cup performance down to 85 points and redistributed the difference to the other three categories. I believe this more accurately portrays DIV 2. If you have any more questions about the system I encourage you to go check out Mediocrity's post in the NBBA forum.
