I'm still in the midst of scouting and finalizing the squad (we still have time until this Saturday), but things are more or less settled. Our boys had a high scoring blowout loss against England U21 last night. Although I guess it's safe to say that the result was expected, but I guess the consolation is that our boys were able to get the offense flowing. Looking forward to more games where we break 100 in the future.

The ball dominant Wan Tong Lai continued his amazing form this game, scoring 23 points on 8 of 12 attempts from the field. Having him as the focal point of our attack seems to work as he continues the star PG trend we had for the past 4 seasons, picking up the torch that Abdul Chaudri passed down to Ho Yun Leng. He was also one of our best defenders on court, with 3 steals. The only player to match it was Chong Hao Kum, who chipped in 16 points on 50% shooting.

Meanwhile, Yang Keng Tze was the king of the boards for us as he pulled down 10 rebounds. His steady development has seen him become a key player at the tender age of 20, and I'm excited to see what he brings in the next two seasons. He barely missed out on a double-double as he scored 8 points.

In overall, our boys had a decent time on offense, hitting 50% of their field goals and 30% of their 3s. However, other areas will have to improve, especially our FTs, where we only managed to hit 18 shots on 31 attempts.
