Welcome all to a really important season for us where we battle it out with the worlds top u21 teams. This seasons tournament is held in Bulgaria at a really unfriendly time locally here, 1:30am.

We kicked things off last night with a gritty win against world number 5 France. After a 9 pt deficit in the first quarter we managed to pull the game back on our terms in the second and pull away in the fourth. I think one ring might have been larger than the other- all scoring was done down one end.

Mvps
3- Costigan- nice 27pt game at a high clip
2- Vidic- 15 boards.
1- Payne with his 10 assists

Next up, Germany.

Last night we snagged our 2nd win in a close match against Germany. Shooting went down to the wire and we held strong to hit triple digits against a world class opponent. Looking at player ratings, I think we got lucky!

Mvps
3- Dunn 22pts on 9/16 shooting , 6 boards, 4 assist
2- Costigan 25pts on 9/19 shooting, 10 boards, 2 assists
1- Vidic- 12 pts on 4/8 shooting, 11 boards, 3 assists.

Argentina is next week

We took a solid hit last night against the strongest team in our division. Italy are a class above. We got a gdp right to soften the blow, but it was all just damage control.

Mvps- 3 Dunn- 17pts, 6 boards, 5 assists
2- Costigan- 17 boards, 12 pts
1- Vidic- 17pts, 7 boards and good %

Next week we assume we have the bye vs Senegal.

We got taken down in a crucial game last night to advance into the top serving round. There is a new format now where the bottom group play to fight for 9th to 16th rank. We keep our results against the teams in our new pool.

Mvps
3- Dunn
2- Sinclair
1- Fyfe

We were taken down by the Philippines last night. We tried an inside iso with some pretty average results. One player that did get hot was Peter Dunn, who sends to thrive in all offenses.
Mvps
3- Dunn
2- Costigan
1- Fyfe

Next up is Finland...

A nice 50pt win against Finland takes us up to 11th on the ladder. They the aCT at us in hope, but our defense was air tight.

Mvps
3 votes- Adams
2- Vidic
1- Ly

Our last game next week, and we are unlikely to budge from 11th spot.
