Before the season is over, i wanted to post a message, so that we have at least the topic of this season with a message in our BBBL forum for this season. Kind of crazy tbh...

You winning the championship seems like a no-brainer to me.... you are certainly the big favourite that's for sure

When I look at the BBBL economy page, it seems most teams are having a hard time to keep a positive cashflow. Also for me, it's becoming harder and harder to be able to keep a good enough roster with the little money I have in store. I don't know how much longer I will be able to keep this up, because all my players are getting rather old, and I don't have enough cash to replace all of them...

that's why I spent some seasons on DII to train AND earn money

So according to you, it's easier to save money in D.II than in BBBL ?

I have been a BBBL team for 35 straight seasons, from 23 to 57, if it's not a record it's definitely not quite far from it. I could have kept on, but I was achieving nothing, and my bank account was emptying at light speed.

Therefore I sold (and not quite well, unfortunately) and went back to D.2

I second guiguits when he says he could be on the salary floor and still get decent results, however it's quite volatile, with the same roster I played the play-offs and then one season later, withtout any roster changes, I finished 7th and was 2 points away from going back to D.3, which would have been a disaster.

What has dramatically changed however, that's the amount of money I have in the bank.

I am preparing my BBBL comeback, maybe this season maybe next one, and this is the way to go. I really, REALLY hate it, because as far as sports is concerned, you want your team to stay at the highest possible level even while winning nothing (I'm sure all my fellow Stadard de Liège supporters will relate to that).

But it's more efficient to go down, and rebuild with a cheap roster. As guiguits says, this makes a lot of dull, boring, and uninteresting seasons in which you'll miss more than one line-up.

You're right, that probably makes you the record holder....behind the Cowboys ;-)
But still, very impressive run....

I really admire Paros who stay alive in BBBL since immemorial times and who is very competitive but I always wonder if He couldn't be greater if he accepted to relegate and have more cash.

Same here, next to Joe (of course), Bull.7 is the manager i admire the most.
He understands this game very well, and always succeeds in finding the best players his money can buy.
He almost never hires excessive salary players, nonetheless his players are still as good as the best teams out there.
I need to know his secret formula for finding these players, maybe then I will be able to win a championchip
