I didn't get time to do a preview, but congratulations to both Sterling Archer and Rashmon for finishing 6-1 in BBM Tier 5 which is good enough to advance to bracket play!

3 others play tonight hoping for a win to also finish at 6-1 and to advance to bracket play. Good luck tonight to DrChristopher and myself in Tier 6, and Prathis in Tier 7.

Thanks! We're both 14 seeds. Rash seems to have the easier matchup so if you're looking to put a bet down, I'd put my money on them.

If I remember correctly, I think you found a list of D.III teams competing for auto-promotion spots via regular season record/D.II teams going bot last season. Any chance you know where I can find that for this season?

The discord usually has something like that available during the last week of the season, and during the playoffs.

Archers of Loafcross [US III.7] vs Stadium [Spain III.16] - 2:00 PM

This should be a good matchup, as both teams put up solid all-around ratings. Stadium looks to have slightly better starters, with a steep drop off after their top 6, while Archers go 10 deep. Will depth, or star power prevail?

Rashmonsters [US III.7] vs Tranquility Base [Utopia III.10] - 8:00 PM

Tranquility Base is managed by sleet, who also manages a team is USA II.1, so this is almost a US vs US matchup. Tranquility Base's starting SG is injured, but they still have a formidable team. These two teams look to pretty evenly matched and I could see this one going either way. Which coach can get their team prepared the best and get the most out of them?

Slashing Dragons [US III.7] vs UZiM [Utopia III.10] - 8:00 PM

UZiM made a last minute purchase of a 90k PF, seemingly in preparation for the BBM tourney push. Even prior to that purchase, UZiM seemed to have a better team, putting up better offensive numbers. Salary wise, UZiM's top 5 makes more than the Slashing Dragons entire team, so this one looks like it will end up being one-sided.

Tier 7

River Monsters [US III.7] vs UConn Huskies [US III.12] - 8:00 PM

In a battle of US D III teams, UConn does a lot with a little, while River Monsters seems to have a more balanced team. River Monsters' inactivity could come back to bite them here as they are very predictible. Will River Monsters' bigs be able to slow down UConn's inside offense?

Archers are the first causality. I though they deserve a little love with the good flow and rebounding but that opposing inside defense was tough to break down, and the unfortunate game-day prep miss was the dagger I think. GDP is like standardized test a blank is better than a miss.

River tied at half pretty much. Slashing stay in reach. Rash is holding their own too, I think this battle is my best guess to move on too.

I should've just left the GDP alone, but I looked at their losses and it seemed the only chance I had.

Does anyone know what effect timeouts have on games other than to refill a little energy? I went on a 10-2 run to start the 4th and tied the game up. The opposing coach calls timeout and they go on a 14-0 run with purely inside scoring. My coach does not call a timeout to offset this incredible turn of events. How do we justify something like that happening?
