Round 8 of the TV game show (Match Prediction Contest) is complete. The vegas odds seem to prefer the Dark Matter, but the Rashmonsters jumped on them from the start, and didn't letup until the game was well in hand. Its good to see the tactics are staying unpredictable for these highlighted matchups. The Managers each brought some impressive defensive, but the sheer blistering pace of both teams favored Rashmonsters twin big man attack of Ganchec and Watson. Furthermore the sheer magnitude in which the Dark Matter were out rebounded was shocking. The Rashmonster were within single digits of matching the Dark Matter's rebounds total in their offensive boards alone. That makes our next matchup even more interesting.

As for next week....
Saturday 4/6/2024 8:00:00 PM 4th place SKILLZ THAT KILLZ @ 2nd place Drunken Sconnies
The new standings give both sides a lot to play for we are surely mid-season now, and losses here will be felt come playoff time especially in home court seedings. Will Russell Medina and the Skills crew be able to hang on to the playoffs spot, or will the league high shot blockers of Sconnies be able to hold them down?
Neither team has played the other in at least 10 seasons. Both teams are also healthy.
Skillz are have won 3 of their last 4. Meanwhile the Sconnies are on a 6 game win-streak. The Sconnies have an easier cup game this week against a D4 opponent. Whereas the Skillz play a tough D2 opponent to stay in the money-laiden tournament.
