Hello everyone!
This will be where we talk about the U21 team for the upcoming seasons!

First, let me clear up the situation regarding the elections.
The Italian coach who won has been caught having multiple teams for the 4th time and hence been banned (not by me).
Since I was second place, then I will be the coach.
I want to thank everyone who voted for me, and hope to change the mind of those who didn't

During the upcoming days I will scout our squad for the season and future generations as well, to make the necessary preparations so that we will have the best chance of succeeding!

Our group this season in the EU cup consists of strong teams such as Lithuania, Deutschland Türkiye and Latvia.
We will try our best to finish in the top 6, but we will see how possible it is game by game.

As for the 18yo who has recently been drafted, I already know that a lot of them has been bought by great coaches that will train them well, so starting from season 75 we will be very competitive in the top level!
I encourage all of you to invest in the draft and team infrastructure, having coaches 5/6 and gym is very important in order to get to the highest level. If we can be consistent season after season where all best draft prospects are being trained correctly, there is no reason Sweden won't be a U21 EMPIRE!!

Hype is real. Lets get it!

Hello everyone, short update.

Sweden 71 - 93 Latvija
For the first game of the campaign we played against Latvija who has a relatively strong team this season.
We played patient and it seemed to work not bad with Kokoris scoring an impressive 30 points, but along with a wrong GDP, it wasn't enough.

Sweden 73 - 104 Lietuva
Lietuva are for many seasons one of the best NTs in the game, and this season is no different so couldn't realistically expect to win here. I was happy to see 2 green circles at the start of the game but I didn't actually expect that it will help us win since they are that much better, though it was fun to watch!
Karler led the bench unit with an impressive 14 points in 12 minutes alongside Melin with 11 in 11, and in general our bench played very well in their minutes.

From now on our schedule is a little easier, so I expect to win some games.

The main thing that I actually want you guys to know is that the future looks very bright!
We had a very strong draft this season and the 18yo are training with amazing coaches, expect them to be a real force when their time comes!
Until then everything is basically preparations, and from now on we will focus every season on getting our 18yo draftees to the best possible places we can and give them proper training with proper infrastructure so we could continue challenging for the top season after season.

If you want to join us in this mission, Please prepare your team for next season and be ready with at least 5-5 coaches (recommended 6-6, it is not too expensive) and a gym in you arena for those sweet extra pops.
When you do that, let me know either in a dm here or in the community discord, and I will hep you get 2-3 trainees, since I am trying to get players that fit together in the same teams, and make this whole process more organized.

Three wins in a row!
We've had a very successful stretch of games, and now we are going to face two difficult opponents that will be hard to beat.

Sverige 101 - 77 Albania
In this game we played with higher approach which probable wasn't necessary in hindsight, but there's nothing to feel regretful about. Peter Johansson had a dominant game with 27 points and 13 rebounds, and Per-Erik Joelsson with a good performance as well with 22 points.

Sverige 91 - 87 Romania
A difficult game against a team of similar level to us, and I missed the GDP here, but with a great 4th quarter we managed to win at the end. In a game where we missed our best big guy, Anderbloom rose to the occasion with a great game of 23-12 and Kokoris added 23 of his own.

Sverige 67 - 56 Belarus
In this last game of that stretch I decided to play CT since we anyway probably won't beat Turkey/Germany so there's not much to lose. It eventually paid off and we ended up beating a better team while we had a bad game shape for our squad. Once again Kokoris was the main scorer with 17 points and Faler added 10 with 15 rebounds as well, while Herman Johansson controlled the paint with 15 rebounds and 4 blocks, making it up for missing Peter Johansson again (due to bad game shape).


Our next two games will be much more difficult but of course we'll try to do our best. In any case, we won't make it to the next round but we have already achieved what I expected and wanted to at the start of the season, which is those 3 wins, as I don't think we could realistically get anything more from this group.

Anyway, I want to remind you that the focus is still on the seasons to come where we will have much better players and overall squads, that we have started to build this season with the recent 18 year olds from the draft and are already looking great!
I once again encourage you all to join us and prepare your team for trainees in the next season by getting good coaches and a gym.

Sweden 74 - 110 Turkey
For this game we barely had any enthusiasm after the last 3 games, and Turkey is a much better team, so there weren't any real chances to get anything from this game. Still Kokoris, like clockwork, put up 20 points, and Karler added 17 of his own.

Sweden 80 - 92 Germany
This season Germany's squad isn't much better than us and we had an opportunity to win here, but unfortunately some of our key player had bad game shape this week and we found ourselves in a difficult situation. I believed that with a good GDP we could still win here but sadly I was wrong. Of course Kokoris led us again with 23 points - our MVP for this season.

Preparations for next season has already begun and I recruited most of the players that will make up the squad, and we will start testing them in the scrimmages left in this season. If you think that i missed your player, or if you have one already recruited and not sure how to take him to the next level, please send me a DM and we will discuss it further.


Next season is already around the corner and now is a good time to start looking for your training stuff for next season in order to be prepared to get dratees and train them well for the NTs.
