Impressive First Season of Div III Ends in Final

The Thompson Gunners first season in Canada's Division III came to a close with a dissapointing but expected loss to the Black Guys in the final.
What wasn't expected was that the Gunners would make it to the final.
After promoting from Div IV it was hoped that they would make a nice first impression and continue to train future stars like Andy Patience, Konrad Welzenbach and Stuart Olson.
However, MVP candidate Michael Braier led an early run through the Big 8 forcing management to pick up youg vets like Laurent Quinot and Anacondo Camos.
In getting ready for season 17, that nucleous admits they were taught a lesson by the champion Black Guys in the final and hope to use that as inspiration toward bigger and better things in the new year.
