Coach Wem: Im doing great Coach, thanks for asking, and thanks for having me on your show.
Coach Knight: Tell us about the moves. What is the thought process for your off season roster adjustments.
Coach Wem: Well, Coach Knight... we.. uh... knew we could put up points last year.. and we... uh.. well.. knew that we could pretty much score at will. We were fortunate enough to lead virtually every offensive category for the entire league. Every one.... We.. uh.... uh.. just couldnt defend anyone.. and that, well, it hurt us. We just needed to make the moves..
Coach Knight: Ok.. well.. you know im a defensive minded guy.. so ... who were you going after.. and why?
Coach Wem: Well... you know we are fortunate.. we had two young guards last year in Jack and Mills.. and.. you know.. that Mills was an All-Star... And he was, uh.. well... one of the lowest salaried All Stars I have ever seen.. and he had a great season... and.. his injury, well, it just shot us down at the end of the season.. and we really sorta got overlooked when this happened. Surely we dont take anything from our competitors.. it just happened. But.. we were able to train them.. and we trained them hard on defense. Sure, we have to pay them more now, but they can hold their own on the outside.. and we needed that. These guys have just, well, been focused on defense.. man to man defense, Coach, just like your teams used to play..
Coach Knight: I dont feel like you answered my question, Coach Wem. Give me more, c'mon...
Coach Wem: Hey.. sorry.. ya.. sorry.. sorry Coach, I really am... We had to make moves.. Hogan had to move on... He was very well rounded.. he really was.. and we..well.. uh, well, uh.. put a lot of training into him.. and we.. well, honestly, got a pretty penny for him. But.. the time is now, not tomorrow. We picked up Pazos.. love this guy. Talk about a stopper?.. this guy can defend.. He can pass, defend, and shoot.. a real Cutter, actually... Gilliland isnt half bad either.. he can flat out shoot the ball for a 20 yr old. I think know we have natural depth at guard.. That is good..
Coach Knight: Have you always had the stupid hairdo?
Coach Wem: No.. thanks for asking though, Coach. Not always.. at least I dont, uh, think so always. Most of the time perhaps. Good question.
Coach Knight: So why Maciocycyczk? Hell ... I cant even say that name.. where in the F+++ is he from anyway.. What kinda F***'n name is that coach??
Coach Wem: Coach, he is good. He is a player. Its pronounced Mae Cee O Siz Ick... Great player... (long pause)... he is good. Sorry Coach.. he is good. He can defend like Landon Turner, and board like that Tolbert kid you had... he can shoot like Abernathy.. he is good, Coach.. he is worth the money... He is a.. uh.. great pickup...

Coach Wem: Well.. uh.. we needed them.. they.. uh.. well.. uh.. have their own unique abilities.. we can rebound.. we can score, defend and block shots.. it all adds up.. it gives us a lot of options defensively.. and.. well.. uh.. offensively too.. its a good thing...
Coach Knight: The Nunez kid is ok with this?
Coach Wem: Well, Coach, he isnt a kid ( the staff laughs out loud)... But, uh, well, uh.. yah.. he is fundamentally sound with it, you know.. ya.. He want to win just like all of us .. he wants to win.
