After a busy day for GM Tom Parkin, he decided to call a press conference to Elland road this afternoon to unveil 2 new players that joined up with the squad. The two 18 year old players sat besides Parkin collecting their number 2 and 3 jerseys and pictures with their new boss.
Parkin stated that 'After serious consideration regarding the team I have decided it was in the best interest to invest in the future of this franchise and these 2 players are exactly what i wanted. We've picked up two solid guards today and i'm happy to welcome them both to the team'
Parkin's first signing today was of Notis Mpampasakos, an 18 year old 6'5 shooting guard signed from the free agency list for a total of $130,000, who wears the number 2 to signify his draft position this season. 'I'm happy to be at this franchise, it appears GM Parkin has my best interests at heart and i hope i can develop into a starting player for this team for many years to come'.
Aslong side Notis is Veidutis Matusevskis, also 18 years old and 6'5 Point guard, who signed only an hour ago for the value of $34,000 from lithuanian Division 5 side KK Velniai. 'Its good to be in England with the Ballers, this franchise has potential and i aspire to play in the top divisions here with this club'. Look out for his number 3 jersey in the upcoming games.
