Less than happy fans

Aura Avis reporters today made a glossy two pager on the recent spendings of local BLNO outfit Grøa Allstars. In these financially distressed times, local sponsors and fans feel surprised and betrayed by all the recent signings, of both staff and players, particularly as results have been pretty awful lately.

"This is totally disgusting," says one of the local hardcore fans. "They do not give the young locals any opportunities to hold a regular spot in the lineup, and these new, foreign players are receiving money they are not worth at all!"

"It is almost as if the manager has completely lost it, he doesn't show common sense when it comes to the finances" another one says. "He is obviously fearing relegation, but spending money in odd fashion, on players in their mid 20's seems a bit useless - especially when relegation seems unavoidable after all."

Fans favourite Pål Vang, one of the few locals to play fairly regularly, takes a more diplomatic approach to the whole situation, and simply states that "the manager is doing what he thinks is right, and it is always good for our team to get better players, but I only hope that he doesn't spend all the clubs money - it would be nice to get a paycheck next month as well".

Manager OddgeirF. has also been given an opportunity to comment on the lack of enthusiasm amongst the fans. He states that: "We had a lot of rubbish in our roster, now some of it has gone. We will still have to get rid of a couple of guys more to finance another signing or two, and then we will be fighting relegation. If the fans do not like this, well, then start supporting someone else."

In its editorial, the newspaper writes that a follow-up story will be published within the next weeks.
