Team showed heart against Blue Knights

With the starting shooting guard out due to injury, the Kurgans squad moved two players into positions they normally do not play. Even at full strength the Kurgans lost to the Blue Knights earlier in the season so to win in this situation was going to be very tough. The crowd of over 13,000 was amazing and inspiring and gave the team hope every time it felt the game start to swing away from them. This is undoubtedly the best performance by this team. They overcame an injury and played great, something had not done in the past. Ownership believes this means the money spent on new acquisitions was worth it.
