Feeney Lee Immortalised

Feeney Lee, the legend...

Feeney Lee...the name so many English teams have come to know. Drafted with the 11th pick in the season 11 draft as the first ever selection by the Leeds City Ballers, the young 18 year old set his sights for fame and glory. What would follow would be a career for the ages spanning 24 long seasons.

Lee will no doubt be remembered for his flat out incredible ability to score the ball which was seen right from the start of his career averaging 27 points his rookie year. He would go on to average 30 PPG over a span of six seasons, with a high of 51 PPG in season 26. Forever going down in history across the divisions of England collecting 6 MVP awards and 5 league title rings during his career.

After 441 career league games for the Ballers, the club legend accounced his retirement from the game at the age of 41. With career stats averaging 24.9 points, 4.8 assists and 6.2 rebounds it is impossible to see any of his club records ever being beaten. A total league game total for points of 10966 may be the highest ever amongst English active teams, a fitting way to remember the incredible performances.

As well as his retirement, Feeney Lee now becomes the first player in the history of the Leeds City Ballers to be named into the Hall of Fame along with his jersey number 8 being retired. Cheers rang out into the night for the greatest player to ever pull on the jersey.

Thanks for the memories Feeney.
