These are the words the club’s officials used to announce the arrival of Ekihoop as head of the club.
‘We want to give the club a fresh start, return to winning ways, and offer spectators the show they deserve. Ekihoop is a young talent we approached quite some time ago. The keys to the club are now in his hands, his ambitions are immense, and we have no doubt that the transformation is only just beginning.’
Ekihoop thus takes charge with some strong and well-considered initial signings. The aim will be to confirm this end to the season, and above all to begin a great journey for the upcoming Season 72.
