Welcome to a new era. A special thanks goes right off the bat to khenry for his endorsement and to yellow cake for (presumably) giving his Blessing. I will do my best to help build this side of the program and to leave things hopefully better than I found them. However I am new to the management of a NT but I feel I have a great consigliere in khenry who can help provide a steady transition.

To those both in country and across the buzzerbeater world who have prospects under their command I look forward to working with you. But I am someone who understands that your teams needs come first and that my designs on what I feel a prospect offers for this squad and for what you need for your squad are not going to always jibe. Plus who knows what you have in mind could yield unexpected dividends for us both.

This being said I think there are some fine prospects. We have several good guards, and a fine big man. I think that these players all have great long term futures, and I hope that they each can hit that sweet spot of elastic effect on the attributes which provide the most impact to the cause. For those who are in the early stages of developing candidates I wish you luck because we need all the numbers we can get.

Looking at our pool in group play I think getting into the second phase is a very achievable goal. However I clearly realize the overall lake of depth and what I'd in many ways a still developing pipeline will make competing with higher end teams a difficult proposition. But I also look at the senior team and I see that there has been solid development of that talent, so I am confident that we can improve quickly.

Stylistically I think this is a team which will have several good offensive options, I think we will be better served by outside tactics but that enough flexibility exists to perform well in balanced sets, but I don't see this team as a LI type of outfit which suits me fine, personally find the tactic to be overrated. Defensively there are some holes, but i do think we'll presented zone defenses will help to hide the weaknesses.

I look forward to the journey ahead
