Group play: Philippines

Your opening package is showing our charges showing grit and hustle but also expressing the frustration that our labors have not yielded more fruit.

Announcer: after dropping three of four in group play our warriors now have to step up to face the host. Our opponents are stout, coming up with a effort to somehow become victorious is a daunting task. But it is a task we must attempt. Making it thru without a win here is possible but even winning these last two is not a guarantee of advancement. We relish the opportunity for the challenge.


post script:We gave it a good run. Traded rebounding for shooting even though I knew it would be detrimental, and it was as the rebounding edge, especially on the offensive glass, told the tale. Advancement is still possible, but we will need the help of the Thai squad to make it through and of course we have to take care of business against Viet Nam.
