Press Announcements

NZ U21 Beat Vietnam

Sam Jessop is pleased with the performance from the U21 in their first tournament game for the season.

“The boys played well, and the whole bench got a run which is good for all players to get some court time so early in the season.”

NZ beat Vietnam 102 – 83 winning all quarters except for the last.

“It was good to see they kept the intensity up and didn’t drop away once we had the lead”

Even without Ulf Hauer who has still not been released by club team Fumblesan the NZ team were still able to dominate the outside and managed to control the skilful Nguyen brothers on the inside.

The NZ U21 team play Saudi Arabia next week.

Nice man, your comments on being glad to see they kept the intensity level up even while in the lead is very similar to my comments on my teams professionalism and keeping the pressure on when they were in the lead :P

Did you not notice that this PR was just a copy paste of your one with the names changed?
