I lost my B3 match, and the deciding factor wasn't tactics or team strength, but the fact that two of my players got injured during the game and had to leave the pitch.

I understand that injuries are part of basketball. However, in a manage game where managers spend time preparing lineups, tactics, and rotations, losing a match primarily because of random injuries feels more like a design flaw than a meaningful challenge.

The issue isn’t that injuries exist – it’s that the current system can single-handedly decide the outcome of a match, with little room for the manager to adjust or respond. That takes away from the strategic depth the game should reward.

If injuries are meant to add realism, perhaps the mechanic could be rebalanced – for example, by allowing better injury prevention through staff management, or offering more effective in-game adjustments when a key player goes down.

That's exactly the risk of employing short rosters, you are betting everything on just those guys not having an injury or a knock.

Last year Killers Reformed won the B3 despite having injuries in two different ties, altough I understand your frustration, seems both Spaniards were lucky enough to have injured their opponents

The person replying above lacks basic knowledge of game design, and discussing with them is a waste of time.

Originally, the point might have been for everyone to engage in meaningful discussions, but it seems like no one has really thought this through. They all just accept the current situation as if it's perfect.

If the game wants to encourage managers to use longer rosters, there should be sufficient mechanisms in place to facilitate that. For example, the NBA has a salary cap and a minimum roster size, but these elements are not well implemented in BB.

Do you really think managers don't want to utilize longer rosters, especially when a star player can take up 40-50% of the salary cap today?

I've previously posted about mechanisms in the suggestions forum and sent emails directly, but no one seems to care. As I mentioned before, please ensure you have a basic understanding of game design before joining the discussion.

Let's avoid wasting my time with further replies.

Thank you.
