To me, it was exactly what the NT was lacking of in the past seasons: a future generation of young players being trained for the NT. We don't know how good they will turn out to be but at least, there are possibilities and the future doesn't look so shady. You did well so far and I hope this will continue.

Hidup Malaysia!

U21

Hello everyone!

First of all, apologies for the lack of communication. I’ve been quite busy in real life, which has forced me to step back a bit from my forum activity.

Nevertheless, I remain fully committed to the U21 team, and I’m still working for the best possible results.

Today, I’d like to share an update on our performance in the consolation bracket this season. We started the season with a squad that was relatively weak offensively lacking both depth in our rotation and raw "talent." Thanks to Spencer Benedict (55412901) on the offensive end and a consistently solid defensive group, we managed to advance to the second round.

In that round, we faced a stronger opponent. Even by stacking the odds in our favor as much as possible (1/2 GDP), we still fell short. It’s certainly not easy given the limited pool of players at our disposal, but we aren’t giving up!

This season, we had many promising 20-year-olds, which bodes well for the upcoming continental cup. The team will be much more balanced and well-rounded next season we might just be able to pull off a surprise!

We’ll have time to discuss this further, but if I’m still in this role next season, I’ll give everything I’ve got to go after a medal! A big thanks to Laggigz (27319), who has been providing increasing support helping to flesh out our staff regarding tactics and player development, and also helping to bridge the communication gap moving forward.

To wrap up this season, we have a few friendly matches ahead—and, more importantly, the integration of the young players who will be an integral part of the project next season.

Many thanks once again to all the youth development managers for helping these young players progress and for keeping them in good overall shape throughout the season.

Go Malaysia !!
