I agree with what has been said here: rolling back the changes to the salary formula and the projected nerf of the 3-2 zone accomplishes little. Furthermore, I don’t think that so many managers were against these changes. I mean, everyone could see that 3-2 being absolute meta was a problem, even if personally affected by the changes (I play 3-2 zone like everyone). Now that people were getting used to the change, imo it doesn’t make any sense to roll it back. You could have eventually projected an adjustment, if you really think that it is not working as expected, but rolling it back is another rushed decision.

PS the 3-2 zone need a nerf.
It is over powered and used by most of the top managers, nowdays you dont have another defense.
Look at the B3 competition, NT-s, U21, everyone is using the 3-2 zone, guess why?

Its so stupid that 3-2 zone is good agains Inside tactics, it just doesnt make sense, it need to be fixed for sure.

This is where we hold them!

Back in the week after Marin announced the reforms, you could have simply rolled back the changes when facing massive pushback from the community, instead of waiting until everyone had already made costly preparations for the new rules.(

This. Hoarding tax implementation required a quick move. The main argument is: 'this is a long-term game, so blablabla.' As a result, teams with more than $15M that wanted to stay below the limit and had planned how to invest their money—rather than waiting for the off-season when prices were expected to rise due to excess liquidity—are punished once again. They are penalized first for planning to accumulate money, and now again for planning to invest that money in advance

Youre talking about completley another thing.

I said that 3-2 is stupid, it should be good against outside tactic, and bad against inside tactic.

At the moment, even if you "know" that your opponent is playing inside, you destroy him with 3-2 zone.

Every top club/nation is playing 3-2 zone and this needs to stop in my opinion.

People training C/PFs with 20+ SB, and every team/NT have those players.
Old school C/PFs almost disappear from the game.

BB made this non logic move to stop classic LI, and just flipped it around, making one defense dominant against every tactic.
So they made it even worse.

How important is SB in RL?
Probably the most non important skill that we have on BB.

Im just sick of 3-2 zone every game, against every offense.

Make it weaker, specialy against Inside tactics.
Its logical.

This is where we hold them!

Hello

The dominance of the 3-2 zone isn't because the scheme itself is overpowered; rather, it's because most other defensive schemes are inconsistent or unreliable.

Currently, only man-to-man and the 3-2 zone function effectively—with the 3-2 successfully shutting down both the perimeter and the interior. Its not unbeatable people do lose with it.

If players believe other defenses are viable, I'd like to see examples. When developers continually nerf player capabilities, it becomes nearly impossible to run alternative defenses successfully. For instance, when a manager in Germany successfully implemented a box-and-one defense, the game mechanics were scaled back soon after. Let's be honest about the state of defensive variety.

I got my 4 outside players, soon I will buy the big ones (C/PF-s)

I will be forced to buy blockers, because nothing else works.

Its impossible for a top inside player with 19-20 IS to play against a guy with 23/24 ID and SB.

3-2 is destroying every offence, and there is no logic, something must be done.

I would make it weaker against inside tactics, so it have some sense, and people can play again with normal big guys, not just blockers.

24 hours after the announcement, I’m back on the forum looking for comments from managers who supported leaving the 3-2 defense as it is.

I still only see comments saying that the nerf should indeed be implemented. These comments are coming from managers who actually use the 3-2 defense themselves.

The salary changes are being reverted because they were not announced in advance. The 3-2 defense nerf however, was announced at the beginning of the season and everyone has had the entire season to prepare for it.

So why is this change being reversed?

Its just an example, a player with 22ID and 25SB destroy every Center in the game.

So you trying to say its okay like this?
All top users and national teams use 3-2 zone for no reason, guess it is like that then.

Fact: 3-2 zone cant work against LI/LP, in any logical world, so it should be like that on BB too.

Here, 3-2 zone destroy every tactic, and it should be fixed, no room for tactical decissions, just put the 3-2 zone and thats it.

This is where we hold them!
