You can run a 3 player lineup in scrimmages, so thats a weak excuse ngl.

I like the idea of random retirement for players aged 40+. It will be nice to get info in the team news/headlines in the main page and in the player profile page that they will retire after finishing the season (you can still fire them if you want).

It would be nice to have an option to ask them to continue - similar to Football Manager - but based on the minutes they play and how 'useful' they feel, they can decline, for example if you only use them in scrimmages.
