Hello
Honestly , the whole system would be so much better if they just did away with the rigid 48 minute rule altogether.
If a player gets out on the court and plays in a game, they should get their training, it really should be that simple. Let managers handle the actual training focus and intensity instead of forcing everyone to meticulously track minutes down to the exact second just to keep a player's form from tanking.
It also makes total sense to combine stamina and game shape into a single rating. Having them separated just creates weird contradictions, how can a player have great game shape, but still gas out halfway through a match? If you're in shape for the sport, you're in shape. I do think heavy minutes should still show and affect performance somehow, but streamlining those mechanics would cut out a ton of unnecessary micro management.
We also need to fix how the market gets exploited to bypass actual team building. Right now, people abuse the newcomer help to buy 35k to 55k a week players for a full season without training a single thing, just to game the system.
Cut the new user hand holding. Give new teams 3 weeks of salary floor exemption and nothing more. I don't want to hear the competitive excuses, too many people use it as an abuse the game to buy super players instead of learning how to train a real team. Or, at the very least, limit them to buying two players the 1st season, no greater than 8k a week.
Stop playoff rentals. To stop teams from buying stacked rosters right before the playoffs, we need a trade deadline rule. Two weeks before or after the All Star break, no team should be allowed to sell players, buying is fine, but selling is locked.
The 30 day playoff rule is another option. Make it so any player bought within 30 days of the playoffs is ineligible to play in them. This forces managers to win with the team they actually scouted, drafted, and trained.
