I agree, they should have reduced it gradually, not in one go

Scariest line in news post, however:
with future expansions on the tax also possible

So to what, 5-10 mil? Would the game even be enjoyable at that point, if the funds were so restrictive?

Hello

My rebuttal is , this issue doesn’t really effect me. , I just think there’s nothing to buy . They can create all these taxes and etc on teams but they(teams/managers) still need something to spend it on.

Which create more work inthe site. I think Marin and staff need to mindful of that. , No matter if you tax at 100% ratio , we still need something to buy .If a manager bought every thing , how is a penalty fair and call it hoarding. You create consumer with nothing to consume, then tax on savings.

.It defeat the point of team regulation and deregulation, in a valued sellers Market . Creating inflation thinking folk will buy more.in the market. Im not seeing that becuase. Training is way better and Trigger market now it doesnt. But training has been changed. So staff have to figure how to trigger market spending with so many economic walls sealed up. Taxes is not the way, high potential cheap is not the way. Again this doesnt affect me , not for me to solve.

!!. Also my opinionated rebuttal is : staff need to start playing the game more often than not. a least 500 hr a year. In gameplay with a teams and community. This would help them understand the climate of the game not heart felt opinions Or frustration of a person outside the loop of things.//.

Fiscal Policy: Transition to a "3-Season Soft Landing" + "Dynamic Cash Cap"

Reject Hard Cuts to 15M in a Single Season (Adopt a Soft Landing):
In line with the global community consensus, implement the reduction gradually across three seasons (S74: 22M ➔ S75: 19M ➔ S76: 15M). This grants a necessary buffer period for transfer market repricing and long-term training plan adjustments.

Introduce a "Dynamic Cash Cap":
Tie the cash cap directly to a manager's Division/Arena Level:

* Lower Divisions (D4/D5): Set the cash cap at 8M~10M, imposing a 15~20% Hoarding Tax on excess funds. This prevents veteran managers from tanking long-term to farm cash and bully newcomers.
* Top Divisions (D1/B3): Expand the cash cap to 25M or higher to support the massive weekly deficits incurred during championship runs.

Expected Outcome: Resolves the dead-water issue of money-hoarding in lower leagues while safeguarding the financial viability of top-tier teams during their championship window.

Transfer Market Mechanics: Introduce "System Player Injections"

Address the Root Cause of "Nothing to Buy":
The real cause of market stagnation is the severe shortage of high-end, quality players. The game engine should periodically inject a batch of system-generated "mid-to-high-tier immediate contributors / national team prospects" into the transfer market each season.

Expected Outcome:
Directly absorbs excess hot money circulating in the market while curbing irrational inflation caused by panic buying of elite players.

Tactics & Salary Engine: Patch the "ShaqGuards" Exploit Instead of Gutting Defense

Recalibrate IS Salary Formulas for SFs and Guards:
Fix the distorted formula where IS cost for guards and SFs is far too low, while ID cost is tens of times higher. Appropriately increase the salary weight for guards with high IS (20+), forcing aggressive "ShaqGuards" to pay a fair holding cost rather than penalizing defensive players who invest in ID/SB.

Introduce a "Defensive Matchups" Mechanism:
Allow managers to assign specific players to cover opponent offensive focal points when setting defensive tactics (e.g., assigning a high-OD SF to defend the enemy SG). Unleashes flexibility in man-to-man (m2m) defense and eliminates the monotonous phenomenon where the entire server is forced into a 3-2 zone.

Operations & Growth: Shift Focus to "External Referral" and Mentorship

Implement a "Referral & Mentor Reward" System:
To fix the real cause of lacking fresh blood at the grassroots level, introduce growth incentives: "Invite friends to register and stay active; both parties receive 1 month of free Supporter or arena construction discounts."

Mobilize the Power of the 20% Core Supporters:
Through a Mentor System, mobilize hundreds of core veterans with 10+ years of experience to guide new managers. As long as the active player count bounces back, liquidity for mid-tier players on the transfer market will recover, allowing new managers to accumulate initial capital smoothly.

"Don't just destroy players' money; recreate places where players want to spend it, and foster players who want to stay."

C'mon man, I'm pretty sure there are many ways to enjoy the game other than accumulating cash over several seasons. The change will actually demand managers to be more dynamic and will be rewarding short-term planning more over long-term doing nothing but accumulating cash.

I think you are missing the point, just like the decisions makers did.

There would be a lot to say about why the game is being played the way it is today and I do understand the logic to try and tweak it, here and there, to make it more accessible, more dynamic, etc. But i will go straight to the point:

How on earth can one possibly believe that this 25 to 15M and 20% tax, implemented from the very next season, would be a good idea at all?? This is appalling. As read in many messages above, ambitious managers are planning their roster and financial strategies 2 years ahead - sometimes more! that's 8-10 seasons ahead!

Everyone plays the game fair and square, everyone tries to find the right strategy, and attempting to be successful at the highest level requires times, planning, scouting, training; it often includes twists, setbacks, it demands patience - a loooot of it.

Implementing this rule in 3 months would kill years of efforts for hundreds of managers instantly, it would - literally - completely change the game as soon as today! I think it would be a total lack of respect toward managers who are playing this game seriously if this is implemented from next season. Those managers didn't steal anything from anybody and would be all of a sudden penalised.

This change must be implemented smoothly, slowly, with thresholds, giving managers to adjust. In my humble opinion, rushing into this would be, by far, the worst decision in the history of this game and would clearly demotivate many talented managers who, again, have been patiently preparing for years and would feel robbed.
