Hello all HGL Managers.

A few seasons ago I created a post where HGL Team achievements could be kept. I have revamped it and started to make it a little more comprehensive.

The aim of these posts are simple: (1) to compliment the ridiculous amount of work Wagner has done where the final results can be kept neatly; and (2) have a place where HGL teams can celebrate their BB successes in addition to the HGL. Only HGL team achievements can be recorded for posterity.

IMPORTANT: A lot of new teams have joined since I last updated it.

Please visit the new HGL Records (330043.1) and see if your team's success need to be updated. If so, please send me a bbmail with the info and I will update. Alternatively, reply in the forum itself.

Thank you MrJ for continuing this work with HGL Records-thread, it's been a pleasure to read this thread in the past, and I'm glad to see it being brought into life again!

There are numerous interesting historical/statistical categories that can be followed/of which records can be kept.

Earlier when I was reading your HGL Records-thread, I thought it was a great addition for you to have a following of HGL teams' success in their "regular BB leagues" - while being ever so slightly semi-off topic in terms of actual HGL (which I personally don't mind at all because), it's still very interesting to see how HGL teams are doing in their respective leagues!

(In an ideal world where all information would just fall into our lap, it would be interesting to add for instance an average world ranking of a league team is playing in - for instance average world ranking of teams in that league - to get a better idea how high level league we're talking about where team is playing in. But all these kind of things would be lot of work with only small amount of added information. I mentioned this also to possibly lower the threshold of other managers sharing their ideas on what stats/data would be cool to see being gathered/stored, and not because I suggest you should use your time to do this exact proposed statistical comparison).

I´d probably have enough ideas to fill the whole thread (and therefore, fill your days with arduous stats/data gathering) if needed, but let's hear from others as well... :D

I have kept track of the countries' records represented by different teams, such as for season 3 (328546.187). It seems to me that a post such as this one would best fit the HG all-time records thread as well, where we could just update it season after season (or game by game).

Otherwiese, Hadar of Svaty Jur Snakers used to compile the best performances of each gameday, if we could get the best performances in each category compiled into that thread too, it would make it easier to check, when a new best is achieved. If you would like, I could go through the older posts and get this data together and post it on the thread.

Would it make sense to keep track of the "best" players salary-wise that have ever played HGL (or have a list such as this for active seasons only)?

If I come up with any other easy stats and records, I will let you know.

But I hope to be able to arrange things so that no such official BB-mail will be sent to me (and no further details of the process will be needed). It's just one of the biggest goals that I've had, so giving up on it wouldn´t be easy.
On the other hand, I simply can't let all my players get listed at $1, as that would effectively ruin large part of the motivation towards BB (and certainly would destroy all work done to train players, by losing them, and in addition making any success in HGL impossible).

It has been an interesting goal, Wagner. A unique one indeed; however, as you have noted, one you may have to let go for the future of your team.

Just think of how much income you could be making each week if you offloaded...say...50 players! lol

Did I mention the savings on not having to book a charter flight for all 99 players for an away games? (One needs to have a sensible backup solution, yes)? ;)

Some income would be made, however, even if I'd fire 15-25 players, I don't think I want to give up on my certain other goal that's tied to own draftees, even if that total goal of 100 would have to be let go... Meaning that you likely wouldn't see a small (definition of small here is 50 by the way!;p) roster on my team any time soon, if ever.

Until now, I have just posted these tables at the end of the seasons to the respective threads. So, until now there was no one place, where this table could have been kept and updated. I guess we could have it 2 ways, either keep this table in your "All-time HG Records" thread and just update it there Though to have a comparison over the seasons, it might be better to still have the summary table at the respective seasons' threads and just provide links, as you suggested. I would be up for any solution really.

Edit: just did some digging and apparently I did not have such a table in the threads for season 1, as I only started in season 2. Therefore I had combined seasons 1 and 2 already. Here are the links for the posts in season 2 (328546.57) and season 3 (328546.187), if you want to add these to your thread.
