What does everyone look for in a C. In looking on the TM their is not many who are in the top tiers of their leagues scores. Any decent C ive had has not scores nearly the points i have believed they should have.

What is the makeup of a good C and what should we be paying in wages etc?

First of all Rebounding - It should be on a high level for stronger leagues as most of the rebounds gets C/PF positions and if your opponent's center has better rebound etc skill he might get a good amount of Offensive Rebounds which usually leads to second points. Secondly ID + Shot Blocking - For real I'm more into ID than SB, but it's a fact the higher level these two defensive skills are the better results C will give to you. And last thing - Inside shot - This is not most important thing for Center, of course the higher the better so he could score in that second chance situations or in some plays BUT as person mentioned before passing-jp-jr skills not very important in my opinion in C position - as It's will be hard to train center with normal height these skills (mostly waste of time) if you want all around center - just use universal PF or Even SF as they will usually has REB,ID,SB skills as well.

How on earth are you getting legendary experience into a 25-year old. That's a different build to what I'm used to seeing, but I'm curious about how effective it is. Have you run with this type of build before, or is this a future plan?

So you say its better to train center Outside skills and waste his youth training efficient , when most of the teams usebPF as universal C to have center position with outside skills.

Just would like to say this right here, speaks of an experienced manage who's been in top leagues for a while.

It's pretty apparent that managers in the top competition look for secondary attributes (on top of a good primary attributes) while managers in lower leagues prefer primary attributes quite a bit more.

as to the original topics of this thread, I think the OP mixed several different questions into one thread: it's one question to ask what attributes should be looked for for your center on the offensive end, another question to ask what attributes should be looked for on the defensive end, and then a totally different question regarding why players designated as "C" in TM doesn't score as much as expected. each of these questions could lead to interesting discussions, but mixing them up usually makes the whole discussion unfocused

So if I have a few big men with IS, RB, ID all around 17, what would be an appropriate Passing level for them? Thanks!

passing is a free attributes for bigman in terms of salary and potential. so as long as you have reached your goal in primary skills, there is really no limit on how much you have to stay below for skills like passing

That s answer is a good summary of chinese approach to BB

But how can you push a secondary skill so much? You need to spend a lot of season on primaries and than you have an old and slow guy
Same for your OD team with world record of OD, how can you push it to 27?!!
